Hola, sean todo bienvenidos, en este nuevo post les enseñare paso a paso a preparar un dulce llamado Majarete.

¿Que es un Majarete?

Es un dulce típico Venezolano, este es elaborado tradicionalmente en los estados andinos como son: Táchira, Mérida y Trujillo.

What is a Majarete?

It is a typical Venezuelan sweet, this is traditionally made in the Andean states such as: Táchira, Mérida and Trujillo.

Los ingredientes para elaborar este delicioso dulce Venezolano con los siguientes:

The ingredients to make this delicious Venezuelan sweet are as follows:

•Medio Paquete de harina pan (500gr)

•Half a package of bread flour (500gr)

•1 coco picado

•1 chopped coconut

•1 cuchara de Clavito de olor.

•1 spoon of cloves.

•1 Cucharada de Guayabita.

•1 Spoonful of Guayabita.

•400gr de papelón

•400gr of paprika

Procedimiento. // Procedure.

En una olla introducir 2 litros de agua y el medio kilo de harina pan, se pone a calentar hasta hervir y formar burbujas en la mezcla por un periodo de tiempo aproximado a 30 minutos, simultáneamente se va preparando en otra olla la sustancia para endulzar dicha mezcla el cual está formada por un papelón aproximadamente de 400gr agregándole clavos de olor y Guayabita con sus respectivas medidas y una 1 taza mediana de agua, una vez obtenida la sustancia para endulzar se introduce en la olla de la mezcla de harina pan y se va agitando en forma circular con una cucharada de madera preferiblemente, después de un periodo de 5 minutos toda la mezcla se introduce en una bandeja de acero inoxidable, una vez que la mezcla ya esté en la bandeja se le agrega el coco picado en pedazos pequeños dejándolo enfriar a temperatura ambiente y por último se mete el Majarete en la nevera para que quede más compacto y fácil de picar.

At last a recipe for majarete that they put the coconut "tropezones". I have never understood why they take away the best part, if it is a delight to bite into a piece of coconut so softly. It is a good post, with impeccable photos, it would be ideal if you put the source of them and if possible, with what equipment they were taken. Greetings.


¡Al fin una receta de majarete a la que le ponen los "tropezones" de coco. Nunca he entendido por qué le quitan la mejor parte, si es una delicia morder un trozo de coco dentro de tanta suavidad. Es un buen post, con fotos impecables, sería ideal que colocases la fuente de las mismas y de ser posible, con qué equipo fueron tomadas. Saludos.
