Republic Day is a national festival of India which is celebrated every year on 26 January. On this day in 1950, the Constitution of India was implemented by removing the Government of India Act.
Today India's 73rd Republic Day is being celebrated which was first celebrated in 1950. Earlier, governance in India was done under the Government of India Act 1935, but after the completion of the Constitution of India in 1950, on 26 January 1950, the Constitution of India was implemented throughout the country. गणतन्त्र दिवस भारत का एक राष्ट्रीय पर्व है जो प्रति वर्ष 26 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है। इसी दिन सन् 1950 को भारत सरकार अधिनियम को हटाकर भारत का संविधान लागू किया गया।
आज भारत का 73 वा गणतंत्र दिवस मनाया जा रहा है जो कि 1950 में पहली बार बनाया गया था। इससे पहले भारत में शासन भारत सरकार अधिनियम 1935 के तहत होता था परंतु 1950 में भारत का संविधान पूर्ण होने के बाद 26 जनवरी 1950 को भारत का संविधान संपूर्ण देश में लागू किया गया। आप सभी को भारत के गणतंत्र दिवस की बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं।
