Tom Brady gives away 1 Bitcoin to fan after he returned 600th touch down ball

Florida's Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback who is considered the GOAT (greatest of all time) in the NFL with seven championship rings, the latest coming in February this year found himself in the headlines once again, this time for rewarding a fan who gave back his 600th touchdown pass ball that was initially thrown into the stands.

In his Monday Night Football chat with Eli and Peyton Manning (also legends in the sport), Tom Brady joked "I got the ball back", although with some negotiations that saw the fan Byron Kennedy a Bitcoin richer.

Byron Kennedy would also receive two signed Brady jerseys, a helmet, another jersey autographed by wide receiver Mike Evans who himself tossed the ball into the stands as well as the cleats he was wearing on game night. The team is also providing Kennedy with season tickets for the rest of the year and the whole of 2022 as well as a $1,000 gift card in the official team store.

"Byron realized he lost all of his leverage once he gave the ball away," Brady said. "He should've held it to get as much leverage as possible."

"Amateur move," Peyton Manning said in agreement. "If he would've held it, he would've been sitting in the Tom Brady suite for the rest of the season. Amateur move on his part."

Byron is an internal medicine resident in Largo, Florida who might have received a lot more than he got for giving back the ball away rather than holding a little longer would feel grateful that he got a significant amount of reward from coming to watch an innocent game.
