There seem to be many reasons why people do not venture into new deeds, mostly because life as a beginner in any walk of life comes with its numerous uncertainties which in many cases is discouraging. For instance, it is much more difffiult to find opportunities or even access to useful information as an amateur than it would be for a person with some degree of experience.

Economist in a research discovered that migrants to a new community would find life easier when they already have a family member or friend already living in the community they are migrating to because having a reference as a newbie is priceless in your bid to integrate into new communities. Immigrants who knew next to no one always had difficulties getting acquainted to their new environment.

Hive and Leofinance like our everyday world is not so different as even here on the blockchain we all need one another to build a strong and meaningful community. I remember a few weeks ago when I began my voyage on the Hive, although I didn't know my left from my right as to etiquette and the rules of engagement, I got meaningful counsel from my friends and the people I met here that started this journey eons before me.

Yes, humans react to risk and uncertainty differently, most people do not like dealing with the unknown and would rather venture into pursuits with known outcomes than one where there is some level of risk in order to avoid making mistakes. But mistakes are a part of our existence and helps us grow into better individuals and best still helps us know one way not to go about a particular pursuit. Mistakes helps us also know the people in our lives that would stick by you even when shit hits the fan.

One important way of staying connected and in the loop is putting yourself out there irrespective of your fear of the unknown. Many times in our lives we live as though there is a lion waiting at our doorstep to devour us at a moment notice as soon as we leave our comfort zone, but we never imagine the benefits of taming the lion (which in this case represents our fears), and how invincible it will male us if we had the lion as an ally.

Support systems helps us grow to achieve all that we have set out to accomplish. I for one I'm happy for the people in my life as they push me constantly to become a better person, and look forward to meeting new and exciting individuals in the future that we could grow together.
