The NWSL saga
The national women super league has been under heavy criticism recently for allegations of sexual misconduct against former coach Paul riley and the failure of the NWSL management to protect its players.
Paul riley is an English born football manager who has spent most of his managerial career coaching women's team mostly in the United states.
Paul riley, formerly coached North Carolina was relieved of his duties as soon as the claims were made public.
The claims were brought forward by the Athletic who had interviewed dozens of women including sinead farelly and mana shim who have gone on record to talk about their terrible experiences suffered at the hands of their former coach.
Riley has denied the allegations against him but FIFA has started an official investigation into this matter and US soccer has suspended Riley's coaching license.

The NWSL has announced that together with the player's association that no matches will take place this weekend.
The NWSL announced on Friday evening commissioner had resigned.
