NO UPVOTE? keep posting.

I’ve notice that majority of people that join Hive (newbies to be precise) always become reluctant to remain active after making few posts and encounter a No upvotes setback. Funny enough, these people spend gigabytes of datas and encounter some cyber bullying etc on other centralized social networks without any profits. When they join Hive, massive upvotes on the all posts and daily withdrawal becomes a their goal. In fact, this problem have result in so many abandoned profile. If research is made, about 85% of people have abandone their profile due to this selfish demand.

I remember when i was trying to register a newbie. After answering few questions, she asked about how much she will be earning per post and how much have I earn since I joined. I got confuse because she has been writing lot of poems on other centralized social media without any reward. Do you know what I replied? Don’t be selfish in your demand. Why not give a try? was my reply. I don't know if I was rude in my reply. Unfortunately, she didn’t join and so all my efforts were futile.

I keep advising people that they should make Hive and Leofinance and any other DApp that operates on Hive blockchain their most preferred app.
Reasons are not only to earn but learn, connect with people and invest through Power-ups.

Personally, I’ve not earn here on Leofinance and my hive earning is low. Apparently, it may be because I’m not consistent to a certain level or another reasons that I may not know but yet, days can’t pass by without opening my account to upvotes with my little Hive power, comment and reblog some random posts because of my love for Hive. Wish other newbies will understand same way.

Another important fact that newbie fail to comprehend that creating of captivating content, engaging on others post through reblog, comment and upvoting (even if they have less Hive power) pave way for good recognition. Following people of your choice is also important.

Checking on regular users profiles, you will notice their consistency. Most of them make more than one post daily. Each of their post are top class. That’s why it is advisable to visit old time active users profile in order check your limits.

Furthermore, I’ll be glad to see that newbies are consistent without this setbacks. The same energy and time that are spent on a other social media should be channel here after all, I’ve not seen any regular user that is not profiting from their efforts.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE

There's definitely no escaping the time factor... the majority are however not prepared to give themselves to anything that doesn't offer an immediate reward.

Yes, that's the major problem. They want to compare a long time active user with themselves. A very wrong decision

There definitely is a strategy to getting seen and getting upvotes from accounts with a lot of hive power on here. It’s some that takes time to figure out.

I think getting new users to understanding the tagging system while building up their hive would be a good idea. And how to promote your post through Ecency, delegating, peakd, and things of that sort…

It's not far from Youtube or Instagram, you need to be famous or trendy to gain followers.

As for Hive, people follow where money is (Whales, Orcas, and Dolphins) and that is okay. But slowly making organic growth by genuinely engaging with like-minded people will surely help in the long run.

At first in Steem, I don't know what to do and why I can't post, etc. I needed to explore by myself to learn Steem and Hive. I did make acquaintances here on Hive, from developers, some witnesses, and creators along the way.

Also, sticking to a niche is helpful, too. It's a bit weird to see someone posting random content every now and then.

Other things such as Hive SBI, dustbunny, and other services can help in assuring posts get claimable rewards.

It really needs a win-win situation: to write something that you are passionate about AND others will be able to relate to and/or can be consumed outside Hive.

Also, some join vote farming (not the curation trail per se) much like a gang where they extort members to do something and the owners autovote themselves with high rewards. These groups have already infiltrated at least one of the biggest curators here on Hive.

One of the advice got from my sis that onboarded was that, i should just forget about earning for now and focus more on engagement also creating quality contents, with time, the earning will follow as well, that way you don't get discouraged easily.

I think it's the best advice a newbie needs.

Oh too bad for that newbie that didn't register because she wasn't sure of the rewards... It's best we don't let people join Hive because of the money they'll earn.

It's better to join for learning, growing and be part of the family, earning better comes next.

The major reason is always cos of lacj of patience. As for me, I chose to remain consistent why working harder on the quality of my contents and engagement on others posts
