Steemit Inc reports good progress on SMTs.

There are also updates on Scotbot, @sbdpotato, Non-Violent Communication (NVC) workshops and Steemit Condenser improvements.

And there are additions to the new Diary Dates section as well as regular updates on the Steem Foundation and the Steem Proposal System...



1. SMTs update

Steemit Inc has given an update on current progress. Testing of SMTs is going well, improvements have been made to the SMT Wizard and DSteem now supports SMTs...


2. Scotbot developments

Developer @eonwarped has announced some further updates to Scotbot including new Posting Fee functionality and Individual Post Muting...



3. @sbdpotato changes

@stoodkev has made some changes to @sbdpotato and its posting regime to avoid the issue of unwanted dominance on the trending page....



4. NVC coming to Steem

EcoTrain and @eco-alex are running a workshop on Non-Violent Communication (NVC)...



5. Steemit Condenser improvements

Witness developer @quochuy has continued to submit a number of useful fixes and improvements for the Steemit Condenser...

Steem Foundation update

The Steem Alliance Community Foundation @steemalliance have released the minutes of their last meeting attended by @shadowspub, @phage93,@alexvan, @guiltyparties, @snook and @inthenow...

Their next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 22 January.



Steem Proposal System update

The Steem Proposal System (SPS) today has a daily funding budget available of approximately 2287 SBD.

There has been a lot of action on the SPS in the last couple of days with a record six proposals now receiving funding including a brand new proposal from @netuoso for the Vessel Desktop Wallet moving straight into the hot zone.

The other proposals receiving funding currently are from @yabapmatt (Steem Keychain), @thecryptodrive (Power Down reduction), @howo (SMT testing), @anyx (API infrastructure) and @thecryptodriveare again (SBD Potato Top Up).

The successful proposals are currently receiving a total of 696 SBD per day...

@gadrian has produced a useful guide on how to vote for proposals on the SPS...

@jrcornel has put forward the idea of an SPS proposal for Steem Exchange listings...
