MY BIRDS ARE 14 DAYS OLD TODAY || VACCINATED AGAINST INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE (GUMBORO VACCINE) || LIFE OF A LIVESTOCK FARMER.

Counting days consistently, my broiler birds are 14days today. As they clock 14days old, they will be vaccinated against infectious BURSAL disease which is known as gumboro vaccine. This particular vaccine is very important in poultry farm, because ones it hit the farm, it can lead to high mortality rate of the birds. Some of the symptoms of the infectious bursal disease are dehydration, poor growth, you will the birds with rough feather, loss of weight and appetite.

MY TRIP TO THE VETERINARY PHARMACY STORE.

I took a bike very close to my house to the place which i have aformentioned in my last trip that I usually have to cover some certain kilometers before I could there.

On our way going, we stopped by at a filling station so that the bikeman can fill his bike tank before embarked again on the trip.

On our going,we passed through the popular Kwara station which isn't far from the Kwara state government house. This is a very big hotel that people from outside the country usually lodge. It's very beautiful place and their service is very friendly. The state I live in is a beautiful place, violence free and a big city.

WHAT I PURCHASED.

On getting there, I requested gumboro vaccine from their attendant and it was at the price of #1,150($3)

The vaccine is always placed with an iceblock to keep the vaccine cold at a certain degree.

HOW I ADMINISTERED THE VACCINE.

To administer the vaccine isn't what is difficult, I just break the cover and dip the small bottle with inside the measured(10litres of water since it's 500dose of gumboro vaccine)water in the yellow rubber bowl. After that, I missed it with then shared it into the 6 4literes drinkers.
