MY EXPERIENCED WITH THIS BIKE RIDER // WHY HE TRAVELED ALMOST EVERYDAY FROM HIS VILLAGE TO ILORIN CITY TO RUN HIS BIKE TRANSFORMATION BUSINESS.
It happened that today I ran a lot of errands today,from my house to where I returned the abnormal second fairly used Stabilizer that I bought. The from there to the Aromokeye Veterinary Pharmacy store to get few things for my birds. To run this errands,I had to board a lot bikes, about 3 to 4 of them. Well, it's my usual habit to always have chats with any bikeman I carried. Fortunately for me, as I left the veterinary store, immediately I stopped a bike who was coming out of popular A-Divison in unity area, almost opposite in front of the veterinary store. I told him where I was going, we had to cover some distances of about 24kilometers down to my house. We bargained at #250 like half a dollar. What is so amazing about this bikemen is that, they will take you to your doorstep. There are ways I can get home by boarding series of taxis which is much more cheaper but it's somehow stressful and inconvenient. So mostly,people prefer taking bike wherever they are going.
As we were going, I was able to asked him series of questions but I started with my usual phrase xGod will crown our effort" that statement alone has created I sigh of relief in any rider I said that to. I have created room for further chat and conversation with this will show someone really cares about them and their hustling. We all know it isn't easy. Then I went further to ask him why he was coming from the A-Divison station and he told he broke the rule carrying two passengers on a bike. Genuinely,I told him he has broke the rules and he said he knew. He further stated his reasons, he told me he had to travel from his village everyday to Ilorin city bike transportation business and go back home in the late evening time.
He then gave a lot of reason that, firstly, he can't run the bike transportation business in his town because they are unpopulated. There are no many few passengers to transport that's why he had to come to the city to run the business.
Secondly, he stated that even if he does run the business in his town, that he will run it most likely freely because of too much familiarity with the citizens of his home town.
Also, he said he sees this as a means of survival coming all the way from His home town(Shao garage) to Ilorin run his business. Moreso, he further said that because the city is overpopulated, that there are lot of people to move here and there.
Even at that,we have a lot of hausa bikemen and tapa bikemen who will purposely leave their village or small to come to city just to run transportation business because of one reason or the other.
