Fear of Moving On
Hi all! This has been a big season for me. I started at Bronze I and am currently sitting at Diamond III. BARELY. (Mostly thanks to opening 1000 chaos packs.)
With less than a day left I really don't want to lose my extra 10 chests by hitting a bad run and de-ranking. At the same time I really want to play more.
I did play some when I first hit the rank. I lost more than I won, de-ranked once, but managed to get back in with another win. I do fully intend to go further in future seasons too so it isn't like I'm expecting to lose by playing today. However, I think I'm going to play it safe out of fear. The amount of DEC I'll earn from playing, even if I win a lot, is probably less than the 10 chests I would lose if I fail. Not to mention my starting position next season will be lower. Though I guess that is questionable on where would be better to start a new season.
So yeah. Fear of moving on. 😅 At least until next season. I'll be starting with 100% capture rate as well so that's awesome.
Would you have kept going? Or play it safe?
How much collection power did you get from the 1000 chaos legion packs? I'm planning to buy 1000 during the general sale, so curious if I'm able to get as high as you!
I think I got around 230,000 CP total from my Chaos stuff. However, I did get a gold dr blight and 22 regulars. So that is about 23,000 that will not happen in general sale. So I'd probably estimate somewhere between 190,000-210,000 CP depending on your luck.

Thanks, good luck to you as well! I can't get myself to buy more packs. Just feels much more valuable to sell the vouchers at this point. Though I would like to open more, maybe I'll get some in the general sale. :D
Normally no advice is quit while your in Diamond III. With the game down for maintenance today it meant that DEC rewards were way better than usual. I was 20Dec/win yesterday but over 50/win today! I'd still say quit while your ahead and battle beginning of next season...but it was a tougher call than usual today
