Crypto Temptations .:. August 1st HivePUD

It looks the "Universe" is tempting me (and every person who is participating in #HivePUD) with this Hive pump that happened exactly on this day! Something similar happened two previous months, but it was a couple of days before the 1st, but this today, is the "final temptation"... 😃

Only those who are convinced in the future of HIVE will have enough strength to power up today! Price went up almost 100% in less than 24 hours, and went a bit down from the top, but at the moment of writing this post, it is still up over 60%... It was hard to power up seeing HIVE going up in the last 2 months when every other token was stagnating or going down, and looking at the current value, it's even harder...

If I didn't create my ORCA rank goal, I would probably sell some and I can't blame anyone else who did it... But, with having this huge goal in front of me, I'm focused on it, and powering up again 1K HIVE was a no-brainer for me... Web3 is the future and HIVE is positioned very well... The question that is going around in my head lately is...

...If HIVE is performing very well in the bear market, how it will do in a bull market when the time comes?

Focus on the long term gives you the strength to do "crazy" things when it's hard to do them... Like to power up when everyone is selling tokens... 😃

Is there a better day for powering up your liquid Hive than the first day of the month? When we celebrate the Hive Power Up Day! Still going strong with my 1K power-ups for multiple months in a row! Will I succeed to do it like this until the end of the year?

Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #HivePUD is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is organized by great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork and it is held every 1st day of a month.

Temptation day indeed! Actually I wasn't I have a plan and I'm sticking it - keep powering up and growing my Hive account which is exactly why I powered up 500 Hive today towards my goal of 10k by the end of the year.

I think you summed it up perfectly with:

"...If HIVE is performing very well in the bear market, how it will do in a bull market when the time comes?"

The hardest lesson that I learned in crypto is TO STICK TO THE PLAN! In good or bad, always stick to your plan and there is a chance of succeeding...

Oh yeah, I noticed that. But we've been in this kind of situation many times. I try not to look at the value anymore, though I have to admit spike runs like that get me excited. 😅

Thank you... It looks easy to power up, but I did have doubts about doing it... To be honest, I had some sell orders around $1, and I regret that they didn't go through... Now, I would have 50% more HIVE :)
