HiveFest Ticket Bought! - Let's Meet

After a long time of thinking uncertainty, I have finally bought my HiveFest ticket! And I did it in a Hivers way... With my HIVE earnings... Who said that HIVE doesn't have a use case and you can't pay things with it???

When @roelandp published the first post about HiveFest this year, I said to myself, "I have to go this year"! I skipped the last real-life HiveFest in Bangkok as I was overthinking whether to go, or not to go... And after that I regret my decision as we didn't have these events in person for the past 2 years... But why did I hesitate to buy tickets earlier?

The first thing was uncertainty because of delayed/canceled flights as a cause of "possible" future C-19 measures... Two years ago, I was unlucky to book a flight to Hamburg, where I wanted to go for a DTube conference, and everything was canceled as C-19 came... I was chasing my airline company for a refund for almost a year...

The second obstacle this year was that I got sick in August... I know, it was a "long" time ago, but it lasted for some time... I had all C-19 symptoms for almost 2 weeks, and I needed another 2 weeks just to recover! Finally, I got better a week or so ago, and I could begin with planning the next days... So here, we are... :) Flights booked, accommodation found, HiveFest ticket bought! Ready for adventure!

Long story short, I will not be in the "official" HiveFest hotel, but I will try to attend all events! As a matter of fact, I will stay at my friend's house in The Hague, so if you are somewhere close we can travel to Amsterdam during those 4 days... This will be my first time visiting the Netherlands and I hope I will not be lost in either of the cities... lol... I found it even better like that as I will be able to visit two cities instead of just one!

Speaking of cities, I will come by plane to Eindhoven and fly away from the same city... After all this hassle, there is another big "question mark" over the HiveFest weekend... There is a possibility that it will be strikes of train companies in the Netherlands on the 15th, so I have no idea how will I get to my destination, but there is always a way... I have no doubts about that...

I hope I will see you soon in Amsterdam! It will be awesome to see some of you guys in the real life and I can't wait next week!

That's one of my goals, too! Checking real-estate prices on a daily basis and waiting patiently for prices to drop... 😃 They are moving slowly down and I will try to find the bottom, which is always the biggest challenge :)

yes me too and sometimes I'm checking a house for auction too. It usually has a lower price than others and is fully certified.
