Take Notes! .:. #MyHiveGoals 2023

When you don't take notes, you get a post about taking notes! 😃 I think it was this morning or yesterday, I had an idea for a post, and exactly for the #MyHiveGoals post... When something like this happens, I do open my phone and take note of it... This time, I fall into the most often mistake... I said to myself... "This idea is so good that there is no way that I will forget it"

So, or it was a crappy idea, or I got more and more problems with my memory cells... lol... In either case, I will try not to repeat it... (this is probably another lie as it will happen sooner or later... 😃)

I know that many of you have problems with writer's block which happens occasionally, and having some notes means a lot in those cases... I'm impressed to see some people creating 2-3 posts per day and I know that there is an assumption that it's not possible to do so many quality posts per day... But... In my case, I do have a lot of ideas for posts, but not that much time to realize them and create content around them... So, if you have time, I would say that it is possible to do it!

Sometimes ideas are flowing like a river and you can have multiple ideas in a minute, maybe even in a second... But, converting them into content could take a lot of time... Also, it can be vice versa... Some people can write content in a very short time but struggle with ideas... In any case, I would say that it's very important to take notes, not just capturing our ideas, but also, journaling our mistakes, and creating reminders for our "future ourselves"...

Back to #MyHiveGoals... In the beginning, let's check out HiveStats...

In the last #MyHiveGoals post I complained about how I was lazy as I created only 3 posts that week... This time, I did one more, and those 4 posts per week are a nice amount from my point of view... I enjoyed sharing my views and experience, and it was great to see that posts cause a great amount of engagement, especially one about checking wallets... It was a (silent) topic that people would like to talk about, but maybe a bit afraid of the consequences... Someone has to break the ice... 😃

Despite having more posts, I have added 206 HivePower to my goal, which is a bit less than last time... Different topics attract different people, and different people have different upvotes... 😃 But, more friends around your posts and a bigger, supportive community is a long-term goal here on HIVE! The rest will come...

Oh, I forgot to mention some of the distractions during the last week which had an impact on my token accumulation... You know that I do play Splinterlands, despite not having it in my Hive goals, and I have aped into the new summoner... 😃 So, when we come to the end of this year, and I'm not achieved some of these goals, I will blame Splinterlands... 😃

Regarding my LEO Power goal, I didn't do too much about it... I suppose that my content isn't that attractive to LEO Finance as I don't shill specific tokens in my posts... I know that people like that type of post, but I'm not feeling comfortable with doing it... Especially to "promote" tokens that I don't believe in...

So, in the last 7 days, I have added 57 LEO tokens to my bags, which isn't that bad at all... It is far away from my "objectives", but still a nice amount...

GAMING GOALS - Flexible Goals

Many tokens are going down during the bear markets... Some of them go faster, some slower... Others drop 90%, others maybe 80%... But, almost all of them went down and the STARBITS token did the same... It is a bit different with gaming tokens, especially with those that are used INSIDE the game, but it is possible to reduce the drop... And that was exactly what the guys from the RISING STAR game did... For the last couple of months, they were working hard on the STARBITS-STARPRO pair and maybe they have found the "secret recipe"... The STARBITS token slowed down its fall, and maybe we have hit the bottom... It's just my speculation, but improvements are obvious...

In the last 7 days, I have accumulated 107 cards which are added to my collection... The same amount as last week! 36 opened packs, 6 cards given away, and I bought some NFTs more...

Regarding my GLX token goal, I have decided to push hard until the very limits... I have some income from small trades on the Hive Engine, which I combine with taking some profits from Splinterlands to buy GLX tokens... I have made a price limit over which I will not buy them, but until then, the purchasing spree is on... :)

My current strategy is buying around 300 tokens per day and staking all daily... Besides that, I compound all my earnings from staking and the part from the Splinterlands airdrop... All that summarized, made these 4300 more staked tokens in the last week possible... I'm aware that this investment is extremely risky, but without taking risks, rarely you can win...

I went through the same thing last week regarding notes, I was trying to organize my ideas and have a few posts titles on draft to develop during the week that way Im not in a rush to write, had everything on my phone notpad and close it without saving 🤬 so I pull a Vegeta Notebook I had laying around to take notes, besides when Im writing things stick faster to my brain, Im also trying to vary my content and see what works for me and for those who visit my blog 😎

I wish I am that good of a trader to make a gain on hive-engine trade.
mostly I just sold the token, and buy some that I really want. hahah !LOLZ

maybe I should try to buy the needed card to advance in the mission on the risingstar game.

Have you tried Stardom? almost the same as risingstar.

Well, I do similar... As I said in the post, buying GLX with sales/trades of other tokens... :)

I saw the game, but as it's almost an exact copy of the Rising Star, I didn't try it at all... I don't have a good opinion about copying others...

Writers block is a pain in the neck most times because it is not easy to fight it especially when you have a target to meet but like you said, there are indeed days when these ideas flow like river.

Your goals are coming up well and I love your enthusiasm towards achieving it with some little steps. All the best!

It's all about "little steps"! 😃 As my starting capital was very, very low, I didn't have any other choices... When you don't have money, you invest more time into your "investment" to catch those with money... 😃

Yeah, there are topics people would generally not want to talk about, you know, the fear of consequences has becomes bigger these days. 57 Leo for one week is very decent, that's might be over 200 in a week if you consistently do it.

I like to share different posts and sometimes, they aren't for Leo Finance... Like some traveling blogs or walks, or just blogging about things outside the "finance" niche...
At the beginning of this year, I put only my HivePower goal as a "top priority"... The rest of it if comes, it comes... 😃

Btw... I have the same problem... As I'm adding 2-3 ideas per day in those notes, sometimes I can't decrypt what I wanted to say with some old notes... 😂

Taking notes can really help kickstart the memory for a post idea for me as I can forget things quite quickly.

A good tip I have picked up from Dreemport writers is that you should write when you feel like writing.

This means, when you are in the flow, write your 2 or 3 articles and then when you have writer's block or no motivation, you do not need to fight yourself to write.

Great progress on your goals and I FOMOd into the new summoner too. Lol

I would like to be able to do this, but my laziness is preventing me... lol... I'm that guy that does things at the last second... I do develop the idea in my head way earlier, but putting it all on paper/file/post is the hard part... 😃

I blame @achim03 for this time... And this new summoner is my FIRST ever max-leveled summoner... So, my FOMO was huge! 😂

Well, in my case... I'm a forgetful person as my parents and my friends know smh 🤣. I ever made a physical note and forgot where I put it. Then, I made a digital note and forgot that I had something on a note. I hope you're not like me. 🤣They said, "My brain is full of something".

After all of that, I change myself to a "Do it Now or Never" person.
Pro: All jobs are done
Cons: My parents or friends can't ask me to do anything while I have something to do. If they still insist, I'll forget something.

hahahaha... Luckily, I'm not like that as I wouldn't do anything if I would have that problem too! lol... In the "organization way", I would say that I don't have too many problems... Always putting things in the same place, everything has to be where it belongs... That is annoying people around me, but I'm annoyed when they lose their notes... 😜

Btw. Now and never isn't that bad approach, but when you have multiple, unpredictable tasks, it becomes messy 😃

At the office? yes, I can do it. No one touches my things at the office. At home? I can't 🤣. Everything at home belongs to everyone in the house (Family). It means my room is open for everyone whether I lock it with the main key. They still have the backup key to enter my room. There are pros and cons to this family rule 🤷‍♂️. Thanks for the advice~ 👋

We are on the same page regarding the "goals in Rising Star"... As I'm buying 36 packs per week, I don't have too many tokens left to take profits... So, I'm not stressing too much about the price at all... For me, it's important that game is moving forward and the community is having fun...

Nice progress. I do think it's a bit tough for me to write posts every single day. Time is scarce and I just try to do what I can do. It can help to have a place with ideas when you do have some time to write something up though.

That's what happens to me every time, and that's exactly what happens! Now I'm constantly reaching for my phone, so I don't forget) But there are still dirty hands, uncomfortable moments when you can't tell the person you're talking to "wait". Things like that... !LOLZ 😜

I'd like to believe that, too. I watch it every day. I have a feeling the STARPRO market is about to get oversaturated and everything will go back to the way it was. Unless they come up with the next mechanism). Maybe they already have one, but I don't see it. Either way, it will be interesting to watch this.

Hehehe... I can't say that I'm "glad" to see that others have the same issues as me regarding writing down ideas... 😂

Regarding STARBITS-STARPRO, I didn't understand the idea from the beginning, but now I do a bit more... The thing with "minting" STARPRO tokens is that it is limited in a way that, for example, today you can burn 1M STARBITS to get 50 STARPRO tokens, but tomorrow, you will have to burn 2M STARBITS to get the SAME amount of STARPRO tokens... So, if there is a good use case for STARPRO and demand for it, this could work...
We will see what happens... ;)
