Today, just a short post as I was working on the @liotes project all day and it took me all focus, but I have done something else that is a perfect fit for this quote from the title...

You probably already know that I have set-up the Hive-Engine Witness node for some time, and the voting power (or the governance token) for that is WORKERBEE tokens... Well, when the witness program started, the price of the token skyrocketed... It went from 1.4 HIVE to 2 HIVE as every witness was buying tokens to get more votes and rank better... I was doing that also for some time...

But, after a couple of days, people got distracted with other shiny things and forgot on WORKERBEE tokens... As I'm running WORKERBEE PH-Pool, I'm regularly doing calculations of APY for staking WORKERBEE and mining BEE... As people forgot on W-Bees, the price dropped and made them even more interesting for buying as the APY went over 20%... All that was calculation at WBEE price of 1.7 HIVE...

As the price was going down, the demand was poor and the offer was huge... Why? Shiny object and price spike that happened before, triggered people to UNSTAKE tokens... Until those tokens got available, the price went down... In a FUD environment, people sold their tokens for a ridiculous price, and I got my buy orders filled at 1.45 and 1.25HIVE per WORKERBEE token... So, APY will be over 30% as the entry price was great!

So, read again that awesome quote and do the opposite than everyone else...

Nice job getting some WORKERBEEs for cheap. I delegated the single WORKERBEE to your pool recently and I just put in a buy order incase it drops down again for some WORKERBEE. I wouldn't mind a 30% return.

I'm maybe wrong about the future of the token, but it was a good entry price... at least from my point of view... Those mining rewards are still over 20%...

A lot of people are now buying Leo to get more of the project blank airdrop.

You are right about that... We had already one snapshot, but that was for CUB, I think?

And the else what you said will happen also... Always happens... That's the rule of FOMO and FUD... I tend to skip these first days... I know that sometimes it can be good for a good trade, but if I believe in some project, I will not risk selling my bags for a few cents...

Most likely to get hive to stake that for the 3speak airdrop.

I'm slowly getting into a disappointing mood regarding 3Speak's future... I like the platform, and I like the idea of their future tokens, but they should get their shit together... This DRAMA with the .co domain wasn't necessary at all... You can't afford that kind of mistake if you want to be a leader...

Still, I will be patient more, but just a bit more cautious about them...

Yes, when you pay attention you can make some good investments for the long term if you go against the FOMO and FUD.

I’m still thinking about how I’m going to make the most of the 3rd edition launch for dcity and the fomo around that.

The first snapshot was indeed for the cub token on the binance chain. The second one is still coming for project blank and that will also include miners.

Ah, it will certainly be bigger than cub. Although it won’t have crazy defi apy.

Still I’m expecting it to have a bigger impact on leofinance than cub. Also it should influence hive is it really takes off.
