A LESSON LEARNED ON FINANCIAL FREEDOM TO END 2021

Robert Kiyosaki says the key to financial freedom and great wealth is a person’s ability or skill to convert earned income into passive income and/or portfolio income.

Attempting to be build a bigger portfolio, one has to get one or two streams of passive income which often comes through consistent and/or sometimes precise investments. In other words, you need to generate or have money to invest and invest properly before you can get passive income(s), which will subsequently get you financially independent.

I have always wanted this and strived to get it. While I have a 9 to 5, the pay doesn’t do much for me and my constant desire to boost my portfolio have led me into certain losses in the past. But the financial books will tell you to be smart and consistent and so I continue because time is of the essence.
This Christmas was no different. In order to earn much-needed cash for next year’s investments, I used money meant for something extremely important to buy a number of chickens to deliver to people.

It was tenuous and because I had to deliver them to people's homes, the cost of the extra service rendered, ripped into my expected profits. I've got exactly how much I put into the “business”.

It is sad but it's a lesson well learned. Even though I didn't achieve my aim financially, at least I've discovered certain kinks that can only come through first-hand experience and I've also met with people that, through my positive reception, have become customers.

I'll do it again. “Rome wasn’t built in a day” and this journey for financial freedom is one I'm forever willing to risk for. I won't quit. I'll never quit because so much is counting on me.
