For me, the word proverb is shrouded in mystery. How does a phrase become a proverb? Can a limerick like "Candy is Dandy, and wine is fine, but liquor is quicker" ever become a proverb or does it lack a pearl of poetic wisdom?
Hmm... that is quite a question! And tbh, I am not sure how to answer that... LOL but I think there can be poetry in anything we perceive. It just depends if we "see" it or not! ;) 💚
