Enjoying the Enchantment of Nature at Teluk Mandale

In this post I want to share my experience visiting a cafe in Takengon. Spending all day seems so tiring. In the afternoon we can use it to relax by the lake in the Lut Tawar area, Takengon.

This is one cafe that offers beautiful natural tourist destinations. I went to this tourist location in the late afternoon on a motorcycle. Before going to this cafe I had wandered all the way by the lake.

This is the Teluk Mandale cafe, a cafe and tourist spot to enjoy views of the lake. The afternoon is the right time to enjoy the atmosphere of the natural scenery at this cafe. This tourist location is in Street Takengon - Bintang Origon, Mendale, Kec. Mostly, Central Aceh District.

This location is not far from the city center, only about 4 km and takes about 10 minutes by motorbike. This tourist location is on the right side of the road, right around the corner and dropping down to the edge of the lake. In this tourist area there is a large parking lot that can accommodate dozens of cars and motorbikes.

When you go here, you don't need to pay entrance fees or parking fees, it's free. A number of public facilities such as prayer rooms and toilets are also available in the parking area. This cafe building is dominant in red with an aesthetic interior and exterior design.

The main cafe building has 2 floors, we can sit and relax on the 1st or 2nd floor area. If we want to enjoy the atmosphere of the lake more closely, we can sit in the spot area on the lake. They have 2 spots made on the lake, to get to this spot we can pass through a wooden bridge.

Relax here while enjoying typical Gayo coffee and a number of the food menu they offer. Refreshing drinks such as juices and mixed soda drinks are also available at the cafe. You can enjoy a food menu such as fried rice and a number of snacks such as donuts, nuggets, french fried.

Being here, we can enjoy a closer view of the lake and the rows of mountains in the Gayo highlands. The atmosphere here looks beautiful and the cool air accompanies our relaxing time while waiting for nightfall. If you want to stay here, they also have a home stay rental service.

While enjoying the natural atmosphere and the menu at this cafe, we can see the routine of the fishing community on the lake. There are a number of huts and cages in the lake area. I am here feeling very peaceful while enjoying local culture and wisdom.
