In which I screw up, inexplicably use a Level 1 Elven Defender (Level 2 Grund as the tank with two more magic monsters was the pseudo-plan), and get my butt whupped. But it probably wouldn’t have mattered anyway, my opponent clearly had the stronger lineup.

On the other hand, I thought I was doomed but this battle went surprisingly well.

Not all that exciting since it’s a Level 1 monster who does not yet have Scattershot but, for what it’s worth, my first battle with a Chaos Dragon.

Oh noes, the poor snowflake! Melania Trump Auction Hit by Cryptocurrency Plunge

Melania Trump’s much-discussed online auction, featuring a hat she wore at the White House during a 2018 visit by President Emmanuel Macron of France, is turning into a potential victim of the crash in the cryptocurrency market.
Only a few bids appeared to have been made on Mrs. Trump’s items as of early Tuesday evening, and the value in dollars of the highest bid was around $170,000, with the exact dollar value fluctuating along with the volatile crypto market.

Trump lawyer ordered to respond to January 6 committee subpoena for his Chapman University emails

A federal judge is forcing a conservative lawyer who had worked for then-President Donald Trump before the January 6 insurrection to respond to a House select committee subpoena of Chapman University for his emails -- setting congressional investigators up to receive access to information they've wanted for months but had not been able to get.
Eastman previously refused to provide information to the House when it subpoenaed him directly for testimony and documents. He had claimed his Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination as a response to nearly 150 questions and to his document subpoena, a lawyer for the House said on Monday.

Georgia Has a Very Strong Case Against Trump

When you walk through the evidence of Trump’s brazen effort to bully, threaten, and command subordinates and state officials to steal an election, his actions quite obviously demand a close criminal inquiry.
For a sitting American president to seek to engineer a coup is unprecedented, but our law contains ample precedents that punish other citizens for similar misconduct. The law is not just for the little people. Trump is not a king. He does not enjoy sovereign immunity. He is presently nothing more than a private citizen, and if President Trump broke the law, then Citizen Trump should face the consequences.

Biden Approves Major Arms Sale to Egypt

The Biden administration on Tuesday approved a massive $2.5 billion arms sale to Egypt despite ongoing concerns over human rights,” the AP reports.
!The sales were announced just hours after congressional Democrats urged the administration not to release a much smaller package of military assistance that had been put on hold last year pending the Egyptian government meeting certain rights-related conditions.

What could possibly go wrong? Sudan and Ethiopia will both not be happy about this.
