In the quest for crypto penetration, AMC is the latest entertainment company to announce its bitcoin acceptance for tickets . AMC is known as the company with the largest movie theater in U.S as it has numerous locations exceeding 900 theatre locations both home and abroad.
AMC was known as a meme stock during the GameStop price pump by Reddit retail Wall Street, that rallied the price up.
Although this announcement is good for the crypto community once again, because this is a huge awareness to the public what crypto and bitcoin is. This company is known for its large customers, but they they didn’t specify what technology will be used to process and accept Bitcoin payments.
Just like every other wise person that is evolving along side with innovation, the company is doing the right thing. So while choosing your movie and getting your popcorns it’s good to know that you are getting your crypto wallet ready as well. This is a slow progress towards crypto domination in the world.
