July CryptoNews Review
Personally July is one of the longest month so far. That month felt like 3 months in 1. Well while I was having a long month, the month was actually awesome for crypto as we had a lot of positive news unlike May and June that was filled with lots of FUD.
The news involved good news announcement from Crypto.com announcing its partnership with the UFC. The partnership was aimed towards creating more crypto awareness. It was a promotional partnership worth $175 million for a period of 10 years. The UFC partnered with crypto.com for its ever ever global fight kit partner.
While crypto.com was partnering with big organizations a corresponding company with similar mission was also raising investment funds for his company. This company is no other but FTX. The company raised $900 million and also claimed to be valued for $18 billion. The money gotten from the raise was aimed to acquiring more acquisitions and mergers. Which they did towards the end of the month by acquiring Blockfolio.
The month also saw some crypto vilain turned crypto hero. We are talking about no other person but JP Morgan who gave his wealthy clients access to investment in cryptocurrencies. He is known for famously and widely criticized crypto currency in the past.
Binance was a core target for the regulators as lots of countries came for the crypto exchange company’s head. The company ended the month by shutting down crypto derivatives trading in some countries in Europe.
One of my best moments in July was the B WORD Conference, that featured Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey. During the conference, they explained what bitcoin was and how bitcoin was the solution to our money problems and financial slavery our government has subjected us into. This motivated people like Busta Rhymes into investing in crypto and 7 days later we saw a price spike in cryptocurrencies. Elon Musk also declared publicly he personally owned Dogecoin, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
MasterCard also launched a cryptocurrency program aimed towards driving innovation.
The government of Kazakhstan is making plans to provide a cryptocurrency bank account for its citizens.
The price of bitcoin finally crossed $40k, the price that hasn’t been seen since May/ June FUD. That made the whole crypto community extremely happy and hopeful. The price of Hive also went above $0.5 and the other vaults in the cubdefi kingdom was unveiled. As you can see it was a good month for crypto in July.
