While going through the AMA organized by the polynetwork hackers, I was perplexed because this hacker seems to be hacker with good intentions. It’s like the villain in the movie with superhero reasons.

Just like Thanos in the avengers

They have returned the remaining the stolen Ethereum and thought it was necessary to explain their intentions. For a moment I felt they were good people. Because who hacks and steal funds anonymously then return it and advise the network host where their faults were and how to make it better. And also claim it was done to make the world a better place.

When I heard about the hack, I had a few moment thought on shitcoins. Imagine shitcoins being hacked and this happens, but then the hackers said so themselves that they didn’t want to hack shitcoins because they didn’t want to cause Real Paninc On The Crypto World. They claim to hack and guild, they hack so you have to learn valuable lessons from the hack to prevent potential threats.

This act right here by the hackers is extremely legendary being that the polynetwork offered a $500,000 bug bounty but they didn’t respond to them as they claim that all the stolen funds will be resent. Just like I have recently said in my previous articles, this is definitely a wake up call for all defi devs to start trying to fix their platforms.
