Interesting way to cook chicken

Hi, today I want to show you a "recipe" though I wouldn't call it that for chicken with mustard. This is the first time I am trying out such a "recipe".

Now I will tell you what I did, and the mistake I made so you can avoid it if you decide to try the "recipe". I put the word "recipe" in quotes because I actually only used 3 ingredients to make the chicken.

We recently purchased a mustard that we were not thrilled with. Yes, it smelled like mustard, but it tasted like some pathetic version. I used 3 chicken thighs, and that famous mustard.

I removed the skin of the chicken because I wanted it to season better.

I prepared a small baking dish and started to "smear" or directly pour the mustard on the chicken. My mistake was that I thought it was salty enough and did not add salt. I recommend salting the meat and leaving it for 10 minutes and then basting it with the mustard.

I added pepper on top of the mustard.

I wrapped it in foil and put it in the oven.

After about half an hour, I tore the foil to allow the meat to sear (we like it more seared, though I didn't wait long enough this time ...)

I purposely didn't add any toppings to the meat because our idea was to eat it with a big Chopped Salad!

Overall I'm happy with the "recipe", the meat was juicy and delicious.
