Soul Strangler

Soul Strangler is a rare death unit splinter with an attack of ranged weapon. Having a total of eight levels, Soul Strangler has a special ability only at its last level. The ranged damage by this splinter come as 2, 3 and 4 damages, which is found in level 1-2, 3-5, and 6-8 respectively. Its health also starts from two and increases to 4 and the level advances, same goes to its battling speed which varied between 2 and 3 depending on levels.

Soul Stranger at level 8, which is its last, developed the poison ability. In this battle presentation, the level one of this splinter was used used the summoner of a dragon splinter.

Team Arrangement

SUMMONER: DRAKE OF ARNAK was used as the cards summoner. Arnak is a dragon summoner and it gives splinters under its summon protection of one shield. It also have moderate mana that fits in to low mana cap battles.

DJINN CHWALA: In the position of defense is Djinn Chwala which is an epic dragon unit card. In this battle, Chwala was used from its level one with the stat of two melee damage, two battling speeds, five shields, and nine health. Chwala was used for its ability to defend and the need for its special thorn ability which proved very helpful in securing a win in this battle.

SOUL STRANGLER: In addition to the above discussion of this splinter, it was used in the middle position to battle the opponent's splinters while Chwala holds the defense. The middle position was also a means of protecting it for longevity in the battle.

CARRION SHADE: With one mana left to be filled, Carrion Shade was selected as the best option for splinters with one mana. Its presence in the game wasn't really felt because it never carried out any attack till the battle ended. Positioning it at the back means it won't be able to attack following the set rule for the battle but it was necessary to put it there in case of a possible sneak attack.

My Strategy, Did it Work?
The Intended strategy worked perfectly with two monster left out of three used in the battle. It was indeed a great team work between Chwala and Soul Strangler and the thorn ability of Chwala was the most useful weapon used against the opponent's defender.

What I Think About Soul Strangler
Going by its name, I'd say it will kill the opponent's monsters body and soul but it's just another ordinary card with a ranged weapon. Apart from the last level that has the poison ability, there's really not much from it other than the ranged damage. Lastly, if not properly protected, Soul Strangler is an easy target to eliminate. However, Every splinter is useful in its own way, which low mana cost is one of Soul Strangler's own.
