Hi @qwerrie. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and read my post. No one likes to think about unpleasent things that happen in life. But it's a heartbreaking reminder not to drink and drive. Trying to educate people about the life-changing effects on families is the #1 priority of several groups in the U.S. Too often this occurs, and the victims are mostly our innocent children.
Our children are our future, so protecting them against adult decisions due to recklessness is a priority. One such group I mentioned above is Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). If you want to know more about the work they do and the staggering facts about DUI, you can visit their website here:

well, I know, it is the part of how our human psychics is set up. for example, we use to take photos of things we like, but how often do you take pics of awful things? of the corpses? dead birds? ugly faces of crying babies? of the funerals instead of marriages? parting with a son who is imprisoned for 20 years? and so on. we prefer to pass by, not to look, to hide from it, and of course not to record these events - in memory or in photography.
I understand all this pretty well.
ps. MADD is a great name!
A great name and a great organization. And you're correct. We prefer not to visualize or memorialize the unpleasant things.
One thing I'm doing for November is my Diabetes series. November is Diabetes Awareness Month. I was diagnoses with Type 2 a few months ago. Now I'm trying to find out all I can about this disease affecting me. It's unpleasant for me to think about, but I need to do this, and hopefully help others along the way.
It's always a learning experience to hear how others view a certain topic. Thanks for your insights and engagement.
