My Hive Stats: Inching close towards 5000 Hive mark.
I can really say that I am very bad in bookkeeping and track my progress on monthly basis and I am hardly analyzing my progress in the Hive chain.
But recent price spike of Hive and my inching closing towards the 5000 mark really made me interested in checking my Hive stats to track my progress if I will be able to make 5000 club this month or year.
Though growth on my Hive power increase considerably in my account but I am run out of swap.hive on my account.
Most of the Hive is generated in my account is come with trading in Hive-Engine and I purchase significant amount of SPS with it. With SPS tanked and Hive rose in price my Hive value in SPS is almost slashed to half and I have SPS sitting on wallet waiting for its price rice.
Risingstar game is giving me decent amount of starbits and currently I am using all my Starbits for card and card packs purchase in the game. Though this measure increased my Rising Star ranking considerably but I am not seeing Rising star game earning to contribute in my Hive goals in near future.
Splinterlands is another earning mechanism for me in the Hive but till now I saved my earnings in DEC only instead of bringing the amount in Hive. This good DEC amount helped me to earn nice amount of Vouchers (470 in number) but I decided to go for 1000 CHAOS pack in Splinterlands and ended up selling my DEC in the game to fund my packs.
With Hive price rise my trading in Hive-Engine gone negative and "PlaytoEarn" earnings are getting used fully for upgrading/enhancing my game assets and I do not see that they are going to add any Hive in my account.
Since I am deciding to withold my Splinterland earning till SPS drop is over, Building my RS card base also might require to re invest me in the cards for next 3-4 month and other game I play Hashkings generate very little amount of Hive for me weekly and I am deciding again to reinvest its earning in the game back.
So I am back to posting rewards to increase my Hive power and looking at stats it look like I have some nice run in previous month and hoping that I get same love in next coming days too.
Let see, how this month will end for me as well as this year because not many days are left in this year.

I have some really, really, really bad news for you.
5000 HIVE POWER is a nothing mark.
HIVE POWER is a reflection of something called a VEST. What really matters is the number of vests in your account. This link takes you to the HiveBuzz page for your account:

You have only 8,960,535 VESTs. You need to cross 10 Million Vests to transition from a minnow and a dolphin. This happens around 5300 HP.
I know that crossing the 5000 HP line is a big fat nothing mark because I crossed that line a few days ago.
Crossing 5000 HIVE POWER was a big fat nothing experience. I knew that if I wrote a post, I would simply get jeers tossed in my direction.
You are 90% of the way to becoming a dolphin. Dolphinhood is where its at.
But a minnow is still just a minnow even if the minnow is a big fat minnow.

Yeah, I know this.
A sudden Hive spike caused my all swap.hive locked or might be lost foreever. I guess if Hive again go back to 75 to 80 cents, I might recover everything and really able to add some 1K in HP easily.

It shouldn't be possible to lose swap tokens because both sides of the transaction get recorded in the same block.
Have you looked through the transactions on HE Explorer?

NOTE: Last year I "lost" 10 HIVE in a BLURT swap when BLURT collapsed.
I could find all of the pieces of the transactions on Hive-Engine ... the BLURT people kept the coins anyway.

Not tokens as such. I purchased SPS for .65 swap.hive per SPS and thinking to sell at .7 swap.hive per SPS.
Now SPS is trading at .34 swap.hive , If I sell today, I will be just have half amount of swap.hive that I have started with.
I keep bringing these profit for Hive power up but Hive spike and SPS tanking has crushed my hopes of all profit.(atleast in swap.hive earned.)

That makes sense.
It seems that when HIVE pops many of the alt-coins drop. So, if you buy alt-coins at the wrong time you get a double whammy.
My guess is that many of the market makers on Hive-Engine decide to take their profit on HIVE.
The alt coins start to rise again when the market stabalizes.

Looks like you are getting real close to the 5000 Hive mark. Keep up the hard work and you will make it by year end. I am doing the same with my gaming earnings - reinvesting them back into the games. Take care.
