Over the last couple of years, and during the mundane lockdowns. the book industry has witnessed an unusual crumble in sales despite the substantial growth in book production.
in the U.S alone more than 1.7 million self-published books and with an increase of 264% during the past five years.

regardless of the huge mass production and the variety of books being presented. purchases have remained steady and nearly immobilized compared to the efforts dedicated to generating sales.

that could only state the faulty approach of trying to industrialize books and publishers as any other product for consumption.

in this realm, quantity doesn't serve any virtue for the value of a book. hence, its intellectual worth by trying to collectively monetize it to be categorized as mere goods.

for that sake, the intellectual property of books and their authors needs to remain intact due to their peculiarity, whether on a shelf or presented in a showroom as a digital and scarce NFT piece.

the blockchain technology here is ought to deliver a great rescue for book publishers to govern and protect their work.

while NFT's has a natural resilience to stereotyping due to their non-fungibility, it also delivers security and Transparency. meaning no centralized cloud and zero censorship.

As an NFT book that has its own sovereignty which is guaranteed via a smart contract. a book then, can be tradable or gain more attraction to be in the metaverse and better again if it had a strong community behind it.

especially when self-publishing is made so easy through NFTBook minter

making that very book stand out, compared to the traditional publish-house arrangements.

in January of 2021, the first NFT book was published as a proof-of-concept leading to the realization of the on-chained books, to be later on adopted by a group of dedicated multidisciplinary enthusiasts starting a publishing house named WIP (Work In Progress).

making a call out for all the authors to join forces for their books to be a "WIP" , in a sense that NFT books could be subject to modifications, later edits, and enhancements besides the variety of any written art, an author wishes to share.

from a collection of poems to a series of some legendary tweets.
On-chain self-publishing has never been so easy.

it's amazing how the possibilities are limitless with new ERC-721 technology.

to have your own personal lab for your creation and to be the ruler of your written products is an absolute proof of brain.
and it allows you to reach more audience and engage constantly with your readers.
those who are eagerly waiting for your next NFT work to contribute in it, support, and own.

Readers who believe and share the same ideology with the writer, tend to be active contributors to that very composition.

ReadmeDAO has made a suitable ground for authors and readers each to be vitally involved through The NFTBook minter.

It provides the simplest single page, ultra-low-cost, and zero censorship mechanism to put books on-chain.
And it has already made 38 books so far being created on-chain.

With the price and supply in the creator’s hands, which is on polygon blockchain as fee-less and simple.
To be eligible for anyone with a PageDao membership card to mint his own books with free-to-read books on readme book collection on Opensea
