When we have a goal in front of us and we are super motivated, we do everything in our power to reach this goal. This often means that for all intent and purpose that goal will be the main focus of all our senses while that achievement is being pursued.

But that leads us to the path of not seeing everything else that is around is. There are many paths to be chosen, many things of interest to be seen. Many opportunities to be had. And many sights to be appreciated.

This is exactly what I realized when randomly looking up last night (or this morning) when got home from a good night with friends. The moon at it's peak brightness above the trees, right behind our own home. The natural grayscale effect it created in the dark was particularly appealing to me.

Ziggy Marley's Roads Less Traveled also perfectly hints at thinking for yourself. So whenever you think you need to be focused on one single goal, let your mind take the road less traveled, and you'd be surprised what you might see.
