Some of us invest our available funds in cryptocurrencies, some of us put it all in enjoying life. And some strive to find the balance in between. Most of us probably want to be that last group, achieving the ultimate balance in their finances. This means trying every possible strategy to get the investing side of the scale rolling. If you're here on Hive for some time now, you're probably at least decent at that.

But sometimes we can go overboard. I know I tend to at least. I used to be focused a lot on saving, saving, saving. Saving as much as possible in order to put that money towards my financial goals, whether it be investing or just a simple purchase. This meant that I would limit myself on spending on fun things. I still remember that when we first moved and started living on our own we were very "cheap" sometimes when going out. Not buying the thing we want on the menu in the restaurant, or that slightly too expensive cocktail. This was with good purpose though, because we needed to buy appliances, so that goal was reached.

Once your goals are reach or you have a little bit of breathing room financially, be sure to switch up the mindset a bit and remember that balance we spoke of. The ideal ratio between financial stability and enjoying life. Or else, why are you even doing it? Many people sit on their finances to enjoy life when they retire in their 60s. But a lot of things can happen in between where we then realize that life has the potential to be short. It's therefore good practice to always strive for the balance and grab life by the balls whenever possible.
