Picture A Day || The Howl of The Wolf

The wolf howls under a cold starry night. Tides change back and forth from ebb to flow and back again, repeating the cycle that coincides with life on earth. It's very existence defining mankind and the planet we are able to live on. Some admire the moon, others fear the darkness it is associated with, and then again some even worship it. It watches over us, guards us while we sleep, neverending, while life ends and new life begins, until eventually it too will have blocked the sun for the last time.

This picture was taken with a OnePlus 8T and was not manually edited by me. What the camera software on smartphones does nowadays is another point. It was taken on a remote island deep in the jungles of Suriname.

I would rather have some form of the moon (full, half or crescent), because it has provided me some form of light when there was a power outage for the umpteenth time in Suriname.

False, the sun is providing that light. The moon is just the messenger. 🙃
