Crypto Empowering Employment

Crypto is not just limited to investors instead it is opening doors of opportunity for exchanges, content creators and now has also extended to working professionals. The Crypto and blockchain industry is growing and with its growth its also contributing well in employment. Crypto demand is increasing significantly and its creating the need for more exchanges and innovations in place and its obvious that with this more manpower will be required. Employment is one of the main problems in many countries and the covid pandemic has certainly affected this area but seems crypto can be a good solution to overcome this. Its expected that crypto will generate quite a big number of job openings in the next few years and its because things are growing in this space.

Since crypto adoption is something that is at its peak these days and I still think that its not the best time because the best of it is yet to come and when that time will come then we can see much more in this space. If I take the example of India then there is a good hiring increase in crypto and blockchain and its because exchanges are growing fast. Last week there is another exchnage that has become a unicorn. Now India has got two crypto exchanges that are unicorns and its a big milestone and we can see many more getting added in the list in the future. With the growth, these exchanges are expanding their business which creates employment.

The demand for crypto-tech talent has soared over the last 8-10 months in India, with the number of active job openings this month at more than 12,000 showing a 50% increase from a year earlier.

Lockdown has cut down many jobs and now this 50% increase is quite good having 12000 jobs in crypto itself is a good achievement and its will change people's lives. Not only job but there is good pay scale offered by the companies which is another great thing. In other sectors hiring is still not stable and even now people are not getting their full salary and at this time paying high salaries by crypto companies is making things great.

One of my friends got placed in the leading Indian exchange and he is getting a very good salary. Another good thing is that is he is getting some part of his salary in form of crypto and that exchnage is paying him that in their own token. Salary payment in crypto is a great idea and I will talk about this more in detail in another post.

The IT industry body said that the CryptoTech Industry which includes crypto applications in trading, P2P payments, remittances, and retail among others has grown by 39% in the last five years in India and over the next nine years till 2030, the CryptoTech Industry in India can create a value addition of $184 billion.

Be its economical growth, more jobs, vast investment opportunities, and learning of new payment systems, its all getting through revolution and all this is happening because of crypto. Overall I can say that this is a good time in the crypto space but an exciting time is ahead and in the next few years we would be able to see this.
