Getting Ready for Leo Power up Day (LPUD)

September month is over and it's the first day of October month. Now we are left with the time of just 2 weeks for Leo Power up Day (LPUD) and this is an event in which the Leo family power up Leo tokens. Power up means staking Leo tokens and this way more supply is locked. This locking does not reduce the supply but with more staking of tokens sale pressure is reduced and this way more value is added to the token economy. I powered up my account with 442 tokens in the last LPUD event and for this also I am trying to do either the same or more but these 2 weeks will decide how much I will be powering up exactly.

I am part of the 2k Leo Power club and I also got my role according to Leo power. It feels good when we have some role or badge and now we have both. I now do one power in a month and that too on the LPUD event because I support the event. This is like a community initiative so we all should come forward and do our part to make it a great success. I have observed that with each month we are being better and the power of amount is also growing which is a good thing. This is an initiative by @leogrowth and I have to mention that they are doing good work. With this initiative, we have the entire Leo community together. Bringing the community for any initiative is not easy but glad to see the enthusiasm and I am so happy to be part of such a vibrant community.

My LPUD Preparation

As of now, we are left with two weeks and I will be trying my best to have more tokens in my wallet that I can use to power up on the event. I have been accumulating all my post rewards for the day and also whatever I'll be able to buy in between will be added. It's always a great feeling to be part of the initiative and I am also sure that many people would be joining the same in the current month and even in the coming months. More awareness is needed to bring more people I believe because maybe there are people who are not so active and do not notice this initiative so it is important for us to publish some posts so that we can spread more awareness about the Leo power-up day.

My 2022 Leo Goal

My Leo power goal for this year is 5000 and currently, I'm at 3784 and the remaining balance is 1216 that I need to achieve in the next 3 months. If I divide this by months then the amount is 406 Leo tokens approx. This is not a big amount and I believe that I should be able to make it. I have also placed a buy order for Leo in hive-engine and waiting to see if this gets filled. I will wait for the order this weekend and if not filled then probably I may buy at the current market price. Sometimes this way I get a better pricing deal and hope to get the same this time too.

This is a post to share more awareness and also to confirm my participation in the event. The countdown for the next LPUD on 15th October is already on and looking forward to the more exciting day. I believe in the leofinance and I am very sure that this is going to lead the segment. It's because the world is moving towards web 3.0 and DeFi and we have both under one roof.
