Leo Threads is the First-ever Decentralised Microblogging dApp

After a long wait finally, the microblogging application was launched by the @Leofinance team this week. This was one of the most awaited applications by the community and after the launch, everyone was so excited that we can see the number of threads every day. Microblogging is easy for everyone because not everyone is okay to write a long post and that's where microblogging we can convey the message in limited words. Although we get all added features including photo upload, and formatting, and even have the option to undo or redo which is not even available with Twitter. The hashtag is available by default and we can use it the same way as we do on Twitter this is the top feature in microblogging as this way we can trend our post.

Leo Threads is the first ever decentralized microblogging platform and this is one of the biggest reasons that makes it special. Since this is built on web 3 and it's an added application on the leofinance ecosystem. As of now, there is no dedicated dApp available but maybe later the team can develop a dedicated application for thread only. I have seen people crying on Twitter when their account got banned but here censorship does not exist and in many ways, Threads is even better than Twitter.

• It's decentralized so whatever you post will always be here and there is no way that it can be censored so share anything that you like provided you follow the community guidelines.
• Create the threads and own them forever.
• There is the possibility to earn a reward if someone likes and thought of giving an upvote but sadly this is not possible on Twitter.
• This is an added application within the hive ecosystem so you can also share your hive blogs with the community and this can give a boost to your post.
• We can engage more with the community directly rather than going through posts and comments and there is no need to worry about the length.
• No need to move out of hive/Leo ecosystem for microblogging and now this all be done with the same credentials or keychain.
• It's just launched and it will have many updates so it will be even better. There will be more people onboarding here and that is something going to add more value to Leo's token economy.

I use Twitter mostly to share my posts and to keep myself updated with hive-related information and other crypto stuff. Here on threads, I can do the same so I don't think that there is any solid reason to stay with Twitter. I will see how I will use Twitter in the next few weeks and is it going to be a need after having threats in place. Obviously, I am not going to delete my account but I will keep an eye on board for quite some time and if things go well as expected then probably I will reduce my activities into their and will focus more on trades to add more engagement and activities.

Overall this is a great application and thanks to the Leo team for launching it. Let's create more threads and engage to create a lot of noise so that more people come over and become part of the hive/leo ecosystem.
