Saying Yes to more SPS

Playing battle on splinterlands is fun but investing is even more fun if you want to build a nice crypto portfolio. Days I am trying to accumulate more assets in the game because I have seen the growth in the past couple of years in the game. Practically it is not possible for me to hold everything with a higher quantity in the game but at least I can try to buy some assets in my game account. I purchased multiple high-value cards a few months back but since then I have been buying more SPS tokens.

Why I believe in SPS

This is a very important point I would say but anyone who is part of the game understands it better than sps is a governance token. There are multiple benefits that are provided by default to the token holders and the events team has already conveyed that they will be many earning opportunities only for the SPS holders in the future. This is the basic entitlement that everyone will be getting if they are holding tokens in the game but apart from this I see, a significant value rise with SPS in the future. We have seen in the past when the SPS price was almost $1. I truly believe that it will happen again and it might take some time which is ok.

SPS is an opportunity

Buying SPS now it's surely an opportunity in my opinion because the price is low. Another good thing is that we can earn over 23% of apr if we hold the balance in the game account. I find it very good and this is a reason why I am holding all my tokens in the game account and that's all it takes to start earning this nice percentage of apr. So far this is the easiest way one can do to start generating some value on the stake. Why shouldn't we avail ourselves of the opportunity now when we can buy the token at a lower price and grow it by putting the tokens in the game account? Later on, when the price will increase then the value will also grow significantly which will surely make us happy. Even this is one of the tokens that we can use in the game to buy multiple assets which means it is like a currency that can be used across the ecosystem.

My SPS Goal

I had a goal of 20000 SPS in the year 2022 but I surpassed my goal within the same here. It always feels good when we go beyond the limitation and I am happy to share that I was able to do this. Currently, I hold more than 27000 tokens in my account but I am still not stopping myself to accumulate every day. It is because I want to achieve a bigger goal which is going to be 50000 tokens in total. I know that it is a very big jump for me and this is the reason why I am not strict with the timeline but ultimately I will be working towards making it possible. I am thinking to achieve this milestone by end of this year but if in case it does not happen then also I will be trying to achieve the same the next year.

Sometimes making a goal that is not easily achievable helps us a lot because at least we try our best and that helps us to push further. Even if I am not able to make it 50k this year then also at least they should be good growth on my overall holding for SPS. Let's see how I will end the year with what balance of sps in my account.

So above are the reasons why I am bullish on sps token. I am not sharing any financial advice and it's all my personal opinion and strategy that I have been following since the beginning of my journey in the game. My ultimate goal is to make my account much more valuable in the next few years. I am not sticking to any specific value, to be honest, but this should be something that makes me feel good. There are a bunch of opportunities available in the game and if we want to build something then we can surely do it with a focused approach and timely action by investing and reinvesting in the game.
