SPS Staking at 29% APR and My holding strategy

Splintershards (SPS) is a governance coin of the splinterlands game. Governance coins are different than regular coins because these coins are launched be certain additional benefits to the holders. The major benefit that is given to all the holders is to be part of the governance system of the project. It simply means that the top token holders can participate in the change and their decision will play an important role in the further amendment of the project. For example, we can see the new proposers system with the Splinterlands game. This is a way where the community contributes to the betterment of the project and we can also call it decentralized because the power is distributed among the token holders.

It is being more than 1 year of the SPS launch and I have been accumulating all the tokens since the beginning. Apparently, it's been more than 15 months to be precise since the launch of this token. The current price is pretty low for the coin but I am sure that this will not be the scenario in the long run. This is because when the game will grow then demand also increases and that will contribute towards the price increase. Maybe in the current situation, the prices are not good, and even in the short term, we may not see a significant increase on the price. But if your vision is the long term then for sure you are going to be benefited and you will also earn many other earning opportunities down the line.

Currently, if we deposit or SPS in the game account then we can earn approximately 29% of apr. In my opinion, this is very good because this way we can earn a decent income on the overall coin holding. Forget about the price that you are seeing as of now but for example, if you deposit 10000 coins today then you earn approx 2900 on the stake. This is a good amount and if the price appreciates during this period then you can earn even more through the same method.

I am able to accumulate more than 17000 tokens in my account and all of these are staked. I did it because I want to earn this apr and I also keep on increasing the number from time to time. I am much closer to my goal after 20000 SPS and my aim is to achieve this milestone by end of this year 2022. Now, since it is the month of November and almost one week is gone so the remaining period is the time when I need to work on it. I think this time is sufficient for me to minus the balance and there are a few ways that are helping me to get tokens daily.

Recently they have started distributing SPS tokens to land and nightmare holders. I get some tokens every day and this amount is not too high but still not bad at all. So I earn through my holding as well as some additional reward for both the packs including land. This is good and I hope that this will also help me have a better reward later.

Currently, the price of SPS is approximately $0.06 and undoubtedly this is a buying opportunity. I am not sharing any financial advice here so if you want to buy the coin then please do your own research and then only buy if you are comfortable with this. Being a part of this game for more than 2 years I know that it is a solid project. The team behind the game is hardworking and they keep on doing something that brings multiple opportunities for the community to be part of. I also expect that in the next Bull run we can see the fantastic price of the tokens in the game and that will be the time when today's decision will make us happy. I know that only 50k or hundred k is something that is difficult for me but at least I can try for 20k which is a feasible option for me.

So if you are an investor then you can go and buy SPS after your own research and deposit these coins in the game account to earn a decent income. You can earn even more if you take part in the pool but for that, you also need another coin along with SPS. I do not have other coins and this is why I am not taking part in the pool and happy with whatever I am getting through the game account.
