Hey,

Did you know that our minds can be modeled and taught how to be our best friend?

Have you heard the expression - “miracles happen when you expect them least?”

Sounds nice, doesn’t it?

After all, we all love to be happily surprised.

But, what does this mean practically?

Does this mean we shouldn’t expect the desired outcome for it to actually happen?

The research says otherwise.

Researchers discovered that the expectation of a future reward stimulates motivation in the present moment. This is one of the keys that will keep you working when you have to perform unpleasant tasks.

Expectations also build confidence, and when combined with a high degree of interest, your neurological ability to achieve long-term goals is enhanced.

So if you want good things yourself, take the next step forward with the confidence and expectation that you'll get what you want.
You will also have heard this a lot: “Change your habits to change your life.”

That’s because your habits drive your actions, and your actions determine what results you produce.

It can be as simple as brushing your teeth – if you brush your teeth twice a day, you’ll end up with cleaner teeth.

Since 2006 === I utilize NLP, Neuroscience, Mindfulness-based strategies to coach others on how to use their intuition to guide their actions and to get the results that they’re looking for.
You can use anything that you find useful. Even shopping or fixing a car, traveling, anything that helps you reframe the way you think.

Knowing you're aligned with your actions can help you take the action confidently and with the expectation you'll succeed.

I hope to see you around being louder...and proud, more clear, more aligned, happier!

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Hugging you,
@regenerette

Here is a quote from James Clear author of Atomic Habits. The quote is from his weekly newsletter, 3-2-1 Thursday to which I am subscribed.

A reminder from Atomic Habits:

"Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement.

A small habit—when repeated consistently—grows into something significant."

Hi, Lisa!
I'm back online.
Yes, habits are small gifts we can offer ourselves with huge ROI :)

I'm working with them since 2003 when I first started my NLP trainings but I still enjoy being a lazy cat sometimes

the expectation of a future reward stimulates motivation in the present moment.

I resonate with this. I've been going through addiction recovery and the main factor for my success this time round has been from having realistic and achievable plans for the future. In the past I've had no real direction and the initial motivation wanes when there is nothing to live for. Luckily I've decided on returning to a past occupation and I've gained so much mentally from it, it's a real revelation.

Any change needs to offer a freedom plan also. And to be adaptable to our needs and beliefs.
