What Is LPUD?

Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) takes place on the 15th of each month. To participate in the LPUD initiative all one needs to do is power-up any amount of LEO Token. There are special prizes for those who power-up 150 LEO or more. Such as being entered in a raffle that has multiple winners. Prizes are (you guessed it) delegated Leo Power. On top of that everyone who power-ups 150 or more LEO Tokens on LPUD will also receive a badge courtesy of HiveBuzz. These LPUD badges are said to come with future utility so you might want to start collecting them if you can. (Why participate in LPUD?) To show support to the LeoFinance community and over-all HIVE Community.

Lets Power-Up

I have participated in every Leo Power Up Day this year and I don't plan on missing this one. Today I'll be powering-up 300 Leo Tokens. That is 150 more Leo Tokens than I powered up during last months LPUD. I was able to double my power-up due to purchasing some Leo Tokens some weeks back. With the markets currently being a traders delight (pumping and dipping) I'll be keeping a close eye on the LEO Tokens HIVE trade value. If the opportunity arises I'll be going LEO Shopping.

Leo Token?

The Leo Token is the native token for the Hive Blockchain front-end known as LeoFinance. When creating and curating content on the LeoFinance front-end one can earn the Leo Token, HIVE Token and HBD. One can also earn the LEO token by using specific tags on their Hive Blockchain created content. Tags such as #leo or #leofinance. My Current LP & LP Goals

As the screenshot above shows I'm nearing 5,500 LP (Leo Power) which isn't all that bad but I want more (allot more). My softball goal for this year is to reach 7,500 Leo Power but in truth I hope to smash that. I suspect the LEO token to rise in USD value and I suspect the HIVE Token to do the same so I believe one can't go wrong with filling their bags with both tokens. My content curation earns a modest amount of LEO tokens each month so that means if I want to reach my goals I'll have to Trade some of my HIVE Tokens for Leo Tokens. We are still in the first quarter of 2023 which means I still have lots of time to meet and smash my Leo Power goals. As a side note: The LeoFinance team somewhat recently introduced something called threads which encourage short posted content. In fact you are only permitted to use 240 characters when using the threads feature (Click here to visit the Threads section of LeoFinance).
