Three Days Without Phone Or Internet

(Edited)

Some work is being done around the Rentmoney household which includes the use of some heavy duty machinary. One of the workers must of been new because on their travels with the machine that had a mulcher attachment they end up tearing down the phone line/internet line (Yes, I still own a home phone, Yes one of those fancy ones with the cord on it).

No biggie, as the saying goes; "Shit Happens". Well almost no biggie. It just so happen to be late Friday in which this unfortunate event took place. I quickly made a call to the phone company just before closing (using a fancy new apparatus known as a cell phone, no cord needed :). The nice lady on the phone informes me they won't be out to repair the lines until Monday. I was also informed that they will be out to repair sometime between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Yes they gave me an EIGHT HOUR WINDOW in which they will arrive. I started to get a little worried around 3:30 PM but sure enough the fellow that works for my internet provider pulls up in his van and put things back to where they should be and presto I now once again have internet. For those who might not know what a multcher is I have attached a youtube video (not mine) that displays what it does.

A Pleasant Surprise

Upon my return to the great mysterious land known as the internet I have discovered one of my Splinterland cards have sold. I was sad to see it go but was happy to receive the 88125 DEC it fetched me. What card was it??? It was the Legenday Water Summoner from the BETA collection known as VALNAMOR. Its no surprise that they are selling like hot cakes as its an awesome card.

What to do with my new found DEC

After seeing that Valnamor sold my purchasing finger was itching. So to the Splinterlands Market I go but what was I to purchase? Before my involuntary absence from the the great interwebz I was looking at purchasing a Beta version of the Legendary Summoner SELENIA SKY. The lowest price for such a card at my purchase time was $45 USD. I believe in todays market that is a great price so I went ahead and purchased one. After my purchase I noticed that the next one will cost $48 USD. The next after that is currently listed for $50 USD and then the price jumps to $60 USD.

$26,526,610 USD

Wholly Molly Macaroni, Look At That MARKETCAP

To say I'm in shock would be an understatement. The last time I looked the Splinterlands market cap was at a stunning $23 Million USD. Just three days later its at over $26 Million USD. Folks that's a One Million USD increase a day over the past three days. I have no clue where it goes from here but if I was a betting man I would bet upwards. If you haven't joined Splinterlands yet then there's no better time than right now. A new card set is on its way and an Airdrop is about to take place. Putting some cards on the market is getting more and more tempting. I've never sold one yet but the prices are nuts these days.

The last time I went to buy a Selenia it was $5 and I chickened out. 😂

Everytime I sell something I try to buy something else. This helps with the"bad" feeling I get when selling my Monsters LOL. Prices are insane, I sold a legendary water summoner for $116 just the other day.

That is insane. I can't see them staying at that level once Chaos comes out. I need to get over my "bad" feelings. 😂
