MY BRAWL BATTLES REPORT

Hello everyone, I started my journey in the game Splinterlands in September 2021 and at first it was all new to me, being constantly researching the game, understanding the cards and their skills to compete in the game. After a while I tried to join guilds, to receive more dec per battle and understand the game, despite being a newbie I was accepted into a guild but after a week they demanded that I contribute 200 dec, when I didn't even get 1 dec per battle, I contributed with what I could, 50 dec, but I was kicked out of the guild. I tried to sign up for another one but I also ended up being kicked out for not contributing what was required, so I put aside the desire to be part of a guid, but to make my account stronger by having more assets in the game.

Two months ago I sent an invitation to several guids in the hope that some would accept me, but none of them accepted me right away, after a few days I noticed that I was part of a guild, SPLINTER RO.

I was excited to be accepted and to see that I was a guid with some evolutions, I made my contributions and started participating in Brawl battles. Since December I've been in the guid, I've been contributing to its evolution and helping in Brawl battles, and with that I've already received Merits points to open two Gladius card packs, which helped me increase the points of my card collection and win battles Brawl.

Today I share my battles from the last tournament I played, I had to choose fray 7 because among those available when I signed up, it was the most accessible to be able to compete with my cards, despite not having any Untamed cards in my collection , only the cards ceded by the game, I risked this fray.

Before starting the battles, and seeing that we could only play with Untamed and Gladius cards, I analyzed my Gladius cards to understand which splinter was stronger and within the Untamed cards I could play, the ones I could need to win the battle without having much dec when renting the cards.

With that I only rented four Untamed cards, spent 20 dec

• Magnor (due to its ability to protect the other cards)
• Lobstradamus (have a card with Water Splinter's Shield)
• Dragon Jumper (a card with good attack and speed)
• Cornealus (a neutral card with high hit points)

My strategy in Brawl battles is depending on the battle ruleset, knowing which Gladius card I can use in order to create an advantage for me, and only then I choose the splinter and the card set. This is because all Gladius cards have Bloodlust ability.
Among the available splinters, in this battle I chose Chimney Wallstop due to the Enrage ruleset and I chose Pyre to increase the speed of my cards, to attack faster in the first round compared to the opponent and to be able to eliminate the cards with less life points, or leave them with low health, for later when my Chimney Wallstop being in the first line could apply Bloodlust ability and win the battle.

In this battle the mana limit is 42 but as I have few Untamed cards and I can only use one Gladius card in the battle, I had to choose my strongest cards, and with that I chose the Drake Of Arnak summoner to be able to use my card Gladius Larrisa Kerato, as the ruleset has Holy Protection, my card with magic attack and double strike ability, it can be useless on the first attack but on the second it already takes life points from the enemy, and besides that I chose Dragon Jumper as it has good speed to start giving the first attack and removing the protection from the cards so that Larrisa can finish the attack. Having a lot of mana available I chose Cornealus in second position as the Ranged attack cards could attack in first position.

Opponent fled - I don't have a file of the composition of this battle, and the enemy did not show up for combat.

Battle 4

In this battle in the ruleset I had Earthquake and Close Range with a mana limit of 48, so I had to take Earthquake into account and with that have to choose flying and armored cards so that the ones that weren't flying would survive the first round without losing points of life at the end of the round. As there was a lot of mana capacity I chose the splinter dragon with life to protect all my cards and have one more available with the flying skill, and of course I couldn't miss the Cornealus as it has the Heal skill, even losing 2 life points every round, heals 4 so you can last longer in battle, and to protect the cards from attacks in the early rounds I used Shieldbearer as a shield.

Battle 5

In this battle I didn't have much to choose from, with the Noxious Fumes ruleset and 18 mana, the Cornealus card had to be present in this battle, and I used Hugo Strongsword as a tank, to protect Cornealus from attacks and as a Mother Khala summoner for mine cards have +1 health.
In the end I won the battle.

Battle 6

This battle was tricky to choose cards due to the ruleset, Even Stevens, and only dragon and death splinters available, I didn't have enough mana cards to use up to 50, so to have more cards available to choose from, I had to use the dragon splinter and chose my best cards to compete in battle.
Surprise was, I won the battle.

Battle 7

For this battle we only had 17 mana available, as there was little mana I chose among my Gladius cards the strongest one that could apply Bloodlust throughout the rounds, since there was little mana, the opponent would probably choose cards with few life points , and so my Gladius card was always one step ahead of the opponent, so I chose Chimney Wallstop, it's a complete card with good stats to survive low-mana fights, it just lacks in speed and that's why I chose the Pyro summoner for help my monster not to miss attacks.
And in the end I beat Yodin

For the first time I managed to win all the battles, I helped my guild with 21 points in the ranking and I received 415 merit points and the guid received 9 Crown.
