¡Las subidas y bajadas en el Sendero! / The ups and downs on the Path!
La entrega de hoy consiste en hacer otro alto en nuestro recorrido para evaluar nuestra marcha. Como han podido notar, este recorrido no se hace sobre un camino plano, éste tiene pendientes y bajadas. También debemos recordar que el camino se recorre en nuestro mundo interno. Habrá días en que parece que todo va bien, captamos el significado de lo expresado en estas entregas o en otras fuentes mediante las cuales nos llega información y nos sentimos optimistas y alegres; pero ocurre también que hay días en que no sentimos que avanzamos, que la información que recibimos no nos convence, nuestro ánimo decae y no estamos seguros de lo que hacemos; pero no se preocupe, eso es parte de las experiencias por las cuales hay que pasar.
Today's delivery consists of making another stop on our journey to evaluate our progress. As you have noticed, this route is not done on a flat road, it has slopes and descents. We must also remember that the hike of this path occurs in our internal world. There will be days when it seems that everything is going well, we grasp the meaning of what is expressed in these deliveries or in other sources through which information reaches us and we feel optimistic and happy; but also there will be days when we do not feel that we are making any progress, that the information we receive does not convince us, our spirits drop and we are not sure of what we are doing. But don't worry, you are doing just fine because that's part of the experiences we all have to go through.
Nos inculcaron la idea de que las personas que alcanzaron la meta en el Sendero, es decir que lograron la iluminación, eran y son personas santas, incapaces de romper un plato, lo cual es una visión completamente errada de tales personajes. Si usted ha crecido dentro de alguna de las diferentes corrientes del Cristianismo, fíjense en los detalles de la personalidad de algunos apóstoles como Pedro, Marcos, Mateo, Lucas; unos eran toscos y mal hablados, otros eran recolectores de impuestos, médicos; otros como Pablo, quien persiguió en un principio a las cristianos. El mismo Jesús tuvo un arrebato de cólera en el templo cuando tiró las mesas de los recaudadores de impuestos y vendedores. La historia del Rey David también muestra que era tan humano como usted o mi persona. Buda cometió errores humanos, se dice que se empeño en ayunar y se debilitó tanto que sus discípulos lo rescataron de ahogarse en un rio.
They instilled in us the idea that people who reached the goal on the Path, that is, achieved enlightenment, were and are holy people, incapable of breaking a plate, which is a completely wrong view of such characters. If you have grown up within any of the different currents of Christianity, look at the details of the personality of some apostles such as Peter, Mark, Matthew, Luke; some were crude and foul-mouthed, others were tax collectors, doctors; others like Paul, who initially persecuted the Christians. Jesus himself had a fit of anger in the temple when he overturned the tables of tax collectors and vendors. The story of King David also shows that he was just as human as you or me. Buddha made human mistakes, it is said that he insisted on fasting and became so weak that his disciples rescued him from drowning in a river.
No se desanime y persevere, todos somos humanos, estamos haciendo el trabajo con un cuerpo, una mente y con emociones totalmente humanas. Estamos limpiando el jardín de nuestra mente, estamos poniendo en orden nuestra casa que es nuestro mundo interno; estamos luchando con aspectos negativos de nuestra personalidad (los yoes falso) que nos dicen “quédate en donde estás”, eso es la inercia. Se ha iniciado un guerra en nuestro mundo interno entre los viejos yoes falsos que nos han tenido prisioneros en sus caprichos manteniéndonos en el sueño y los yoes verdaderos que lo quieren liberar de esa esclavitud que es ese sueño profundo.
Do not be discouraged and persevere, we are all human, we are doing the work with a fully human body, mind and emotions. We are cleaning the garden of our mind, we are putting our house, which is our internal world, in order; we are struggling with negative aspects of our personality (false selves) that tell us to “stay where you are”, that is inertia. A war has begun in our inner world between the false old selves that have held us prisoners in their whims, keeping us in that sleep state, and the true selves that want to free us from that slavery represented by that deep sleep.
Cada día desechamos algo de ese vieja manera de ser y poco a poco incorporamos cosas nuevas; pero para llenar una vasija, primero tenemos que vaciarla de su contenido para hacer el espacio para lo nuevo. Usted y yo estamos en ese proceso de cambio; llegara el momento en que la antiguas costumbres ya no llamarán nuestra atención y es oportuno advertirle que muchas de sus amistades y conocidos se irán de su vida, simplemente porqué usted está cambiando la frecuencia de su vibración lo cual hace que se retiren de su vida. Deseche la idea de que tiene que ser una persona perfecta para alcanzar su meta, está es una trampa del ego para que usted desista en su intento. Tampoco llegue a creer que este es un camino lleno de flores y todo será fácil de lograr; usted se está enfrentando a su lado oscuro (que todos tenemos) para llevar luz a esa tinieblas. Así que siga adelante y no se rinda.
Every day we discard something of that old way of being and little by little we incorporate new things; but remember that to fill a vessel, we first have to empty it of its contents to make room for the new. You and I are in that process of change; even the old customs will no longer call our attention and it is opportune to warn you that many of your friends and acquaintances will leave your life, simply because you are changing the frequency of your vibration which causes them to withdraw from your life. Get rid of the idea that you have to be a perfect person to reach your goal, this is an ego trap for you to give up on your attempt. Also don't believe that this is a path full of flowers and everything will be easy to achieve; you are facing your dark side (which we all have) to bring light to that darkness. So keep going and don't give up.
