You see people going to school, college, and then university, getting educated first and doing a job to make money. You have plenty of opportunities these days. You can build your online career and make money online. So will you stop going to university and focus on your online career only?

Will You Stop Going To University and Focus On Making Money Online.jpg

This question may come to your mind to see success in making money online. You make a lot of money now. Probably you think you will not get much out of formal university education. So it is better not to go to the university and focus only on working online to build your online career.

There are arguments on both sides. It depends on your circumstance and what you choose. But I think you should consider going to university. If you go to the university and complete graduation, it does not mean you have to give up working online.

You can work and make money online while studying at university. There is something you should do on time. Education is one of them. In the future, you cannot go back to the moment you have right now to study at university. After completing graduation, you can completely focus on working online and that can be your career.

Whatever you do to make money online can change very fast in the future. If you make a lot of money working online, it does not mean you will keep making money like this. Since things change pretty fast, you have to adapt and change accordingly.

You may only hear success stories of making a fortune by working online. You do not know the stories of failure where people get into depression and end up in terrible situations. When people fail, they may not come to share their stories. If they become successful, they may share their failure then.

Academic education can give you a safety net. Even in the future, if something happens, you can get a job and make money. On the flip side, you may not find a suitable job when you are not educated.

You acquire different skills while going to the university. You network with other people and improve your social skills. You can easily connect with others and understand them. What you learn at university, you may use that skills at some point in your life.

Now you cannot connect the dot but you may connect the dots in the future and do something better. You can study in a specific field at university that will help to build your career online. I do think it is better to focus on making money online while you are going to university and completing your graduation.

You do not need to give up one to do the other. So how about you? Please feel free to leave your comments. Thank you for reading this post. That's it for now. I'll be back with another post.

I agree to a great extent especially because there's some reshaping and enlightenment that comes with being educated.
It's a life to experience, the connections, the mixed culture, a story to tell in a lifetime. And they are not mutually exclusive.

However, what you study may not always be relevant to the path you eventually tow.

Good thing is, there's virtual learning but I don't think it has same effect as staying through the 4-7years within the walls of a university.

In all, they shouldn't tell us we need to go to school alone to be comfortable. We should be told earlier that that's fairy tale and without a solid connection, one needs to skill up to survive in the labour market.

And they are not mutually exclusive.

That's the truth. You do not have to sacrifice to go for another. You can do both. I think there is no way you can underestimate education. It will help you in one way or another in the future.

If one can afford to do so better have both. ☺️ Going to university is our lifetime pride and identification. No one can take it from us. And even so, one is earning a lot of money now on his/her online career but with education, one gets smarter while doing the online career. Moreover, going to university is a backup foundation, so when an online career gets bad one has still another option to do.

So better have both as long as you have the resources to do it so: time, money, and flexibility of mind and body to do both.☺️

I completely agree with you. Education can help in your online career. Things change very fast and you can learn to adapt. Today something is popular and trendy. It can change tomorrow. You said it very well, @callmesmile.

I think it depends on the major. If you are in the lower brackets for income, you can generally get funding and it might be worth it if you don't go into debt. I think the resources online have kind of made a lot of alternatives already so school is no longer required.

More resources are available online, but it does not undermine the importance of getting a formal education. We have more opportunities to educate ourselves, and that's great!
