The TEDS Child Care Initiative to Empower over 50 Women and Reach out to 150 kids in two Public Primaries in Obafemi Owode, Ogun State.

So, over the week, I had the opportunity to talk to an old friend of mine whom I have lost contact with. Fortunately I got to see his profile on social media and I sent him a friend request then we got talking again.

After a while, we got talking about stuffs we’ve been up to.

He told me of the project he is working on and needed some support.

When I tried to inquire what the project was all about and he told me that, the project is trying to empower rural women with skills that would help them survive the hash economic situation in our country.

Some weeks ago, there had their first interactive session with the women at Owode Egba in Obafemi Owode, Ogun State one of their outreach locations.

There were able to share what TEDS Child Care Initiative is about with them and also what they stand to benefit from the initiative by learning how to make things like skincare cream, liquid soap etc. they were so glad and couldn't hide their expressions to register their interest and readiness for the training program.

He told me that the project is seeking for $1795 support, so there can meet their target of empowering 50 woman and 150 kids in two public primary schools in ogun state, Nigeria.

I used the opportunity to introduce Hive.io to him and all what the project can stand to benefits from this great web. 3.0 platform.

He said, he was going to do some research about hive to understand it better,

I also promised him that I will make a post about it on hive and will support the project with the HBD reword gotten from the post..
