This incredible story tells us the reality not far from us of the struggle for survival at a time when there seemed to be no salvation for the Jewish community. The impressive story that makes us transport back in time and go back seeing real atrocities that the human being even a few years ago was still capable of doing. Jewish families devastated by death, babies crying and being starved to death in the cold. The gas chambers, bodies piled up and placed in mass graves.
This story tells the truth about three women who survived in human conditions, where every second of life was like the last and a secret that had to be kept at all costs.
It was the year of 1944 when three women were sent to Auschwitz they had the names of Priska, Rachel and Anka and they had in common being pregnant for a few weeks which was almost the fatal fate to be pregnant at that time.
These women suffered a lot at the hands of the Nazis as well as their relatives, many of them killed after being enslaved.
If we can visualize each baby that was born weighed less than 1.5 kilos, which speaks well of the skeletal part of them as well as of these women who struggled for them to survive.
At the time for the reader to understand well what happened, there was a doctor who was called Josef Mengele, the angel of death. . The trip ended in Mauthausen concentration camp, where they were later released by the Allies.
A true story that even today shames humanity the Nazi cruelty that it is still possible to visit their concentration camps and there are those who say that even in these visits they feel as if they had to live the Nazi atrocities and the death that was daily in these concentration camps.

The author of this book Wendy Holden with a magnificent work of reconstitution of that theme, of investigation and especially of
a way that allowed in this book to witness the atrocities of that nazi time.
