Hive got much easier for the newbies than it was on Steem. Stick to what you enjoy the most and engage with those communities. That gives you the common ground, and conversations are easy and fluid. Also, don't underestimate meetups and discord.

Good post, I think we all would do things differently if we could turn back the time. 😄
