Almost a Millionaire
I woke up one fine morning. I took a cup of black coffee, looked out of my window and sighed. Usually, that's what I do. And, went right back at my laptop to check crypto portfolio. I hope that is not unusual for you too, if you are reading this post on Hive. You got to be invested if you are using Hive blog :D
While checking my portfolio, I almost jumped out of my chair when I saw the amount of crypto assets in my portfolio. I did not know what to do and did not know what happened in one night. Did i win a lottery? Did something happen with the coins that I invested in? I have $ 422,999 worth of crypto. Yeah, right?
I have no idea how that happened but the portfolio tracker I use must have messed up with accounting. There are coins that I have never heard of. It seems, the tracker is tracking the value of coins out of nowhere. The coins that are valued higher are airdropped to all BSC accounts, it seems. I don't know why this specific portfolio tracker is tracking the price of these worthless tokens.
Nevertheless, the tracker helped me realize how would I react if I am almost a millionaire overnight.
I thought I would crazy if i have that much money. But, to my surprise, I did not. THe first thing that came to my mind was if I could stake them and earn rewards. DeFi has messed up my head. I don't like coins that cannot be staked and don't earn me passive income. Passive income and staking have been my two mantras to remain sane in cryptospace.

One day, many of us will be millionaires, but, for most people, if we want to become millionaires, we'll have to work our asses off for it, rather than just sit hoping to win the crypto lottery.
Agreed. If you are lucky, some random days, you can wake up with a fake million :P :D

Hahah nice! I think that happened with hive or Steem a while ago. My only time being close to a millionaire let me tell you! I’ve got a BSC account I should look to see if I’ve gotten anything in airdrops lol.
