The winner is.

2022-01-08 17_58_18-Window.png

Congrats to @arcgspy hope it helps the start of this year for ya.

2022-01-08 18_01_19-Window.png

Each week I ask you guys a question and you have to answer to win the card. I always read them all but don't always reply. You have to answer the question or you won't be in the draw. I don't care what you say but it has to be an answer that makes sense. Trying to avoid bots.

Market is down just wondering how you are all doing?

The giveaway is only on hive.

I lived through the last big bear market. What did I do then? I just kept blogging and playing splinterlands and gala games and other nft games that I could afford. Then all of a sudden when some of those games went big. I went from a small crypto guy to a guy with a lot of money in crypto. I am not worried but because I am ready to just stack up again one more time and get ready for the next ride up.

Here is the giveaway card.

Djinn Chwala is strong at low levels and while the market is cheap I will give away better cards.

I don't have much experience in the crypto but I don't really care what my crypto is worth vs fiat. Thing is, I'm in crypto for the crypto, not the fiat.
Thank you for the opportunity! @spryquasar

I feel stressed, but I’m trying to relax into the ride. I’m new to investment abs figuring out how much risk is right sized for me. I do trust that crypto abs block chain gaming are revolutionizing things, so I’m trying to shoddy investment strategy to the projects I feel really have something to offer. Thanks further giveaway. @squishna

I actually don't see the market being down as overly bad or good, it reduces the value of our current cards and assets but provides an opportunity for new players to get into the game and actually invest more long term in it while its cheaper which can help prices go up in the long run!

So far, I'm doing pretty good. I'm not worried. 8 months ago, everyone was acting like the world was coming to an end and then a few months later everything was booming. Maybe this is more of the same.

About crypto...
I'm relatively new, I had a bunch of projects I really liked but had to sell a lot when I moved from Mexico to US a couple months ago.
I'm still comfortable with the coins I could get on coinbase but yeah, I'm not that worried about crypto winter and all that stuff, I'm in for the long term and only invest what I'm willing to lose in a worst case scenario.
I'll just keep playing splinterlands and have fun!
Anyways, stay strong everybody and enjoy the little things :)

Hmm am still playing Splinterlands, and will continue to DCA into cryptos. Nothing changed for me because I know they will go back up in the future! Thanks! @relf87

Market down is a good time to shopping cards (crypto in general), I am hoping able to climb to silver as quickly as I can.

I’m not a financial advisor but if market is down. Like most experts say, do your own research and invest at your own risk. But what I do, I usually buy dec and put in liquidity pool when market is down. I do the DEC-BUSD liquidity pool in CUB defi, I get CUB tokens from it, additional SPS in airdrop and I get vouchers from SPS. It’s really a win-win-win situation.

Still hodling, I have trust in the devs. It's just a bummer that my Dec savings will only buy me a few CL packs.

I'm somewhat enjoying the dip 🙄
While my overall crypto profits aren't as healthy as they were, this, combined with CL, has given me a chance to buy cards of my own and focus more on building a deck instead of renting.
There are a lot of downsides to a dip but if you see it as an opportunity to buy into something you believe in, ie. Splinterlands, it can only be a good thing in the long run!

Thanks for your post,

Count me in @technocrypton
Doing great, cheap prices means I get to buy more crypto for the same fiat that I’m spending anyway! Grind and hustle. Buy and hold. Stake and stack.

Only spend what you can afford to loose hold until it is worth to sell. Don't be greedy and sell 50% on 100% profit.

I'm having a hard time with this bear market, I've lost so much money. But... I keep on buying when I can, lowering my DCA and hoping for a bullrun.

Just going to DCA and continue buying regularly in small amounts for the crypto that I like (which includes HIVE). @blitzzzz

Just waiting for the market going up again. That´s Crypto. But the game has a lot of potential and a great community. That´s why i think prices will rise again whan new player join Splinterlands. The next step for the game will be good marketing to attarct new player. In the long term there is no reason to panic cause it´s normal. Just play the long game and HODL ;)

Im fine with that, Im in long term playing without leverage anymore (lmao).
I buy low cap tokens (but reading whitepaper, technical analysis) and take profits with limit order when it hits 100% on thoses pump n dumps and left the other half as holder bag. So I'm not minding anymore, it produces cash periodically, and I can sleep well that way. I also invest in stocks, commodities sometimes, exposition to forex since Im brazilian, Im on economics and accounting... Watching Macro factors, valuations... Thats it. But only 1 year in the market.

Good lucky for us.

Also, this dip might be a wyckoff acumulation

@kaylerfaye here while the market is down I took the opportunity to buy HIVE then converted some of it to credits, which is in preparation to buy 20 CL packs during the upcoming General Sale. I'm a small investor who's trying to compound my assets right now in hopes of making it big like you are here in Splinterlands. I still have around $ 70 worth of hive which I'm planning to convert to DEC to be used in buying CL cards aiming to at least build a competitive Silver League Deck. I know $ 70 would not be enough that's why I'm still having second thoughts if I should buy 20 CL Packs in hopes to get card airdrops or just straight up spend all of it in buying individual cards.

That is hard for sure buying single cards lets you get your deck leveled up cheaper. But it is fun to chase 1 pack magic because if just one of your 20 packs has a Gold Foil Legendary then it pays for those packs. Yet I get not chasing that when you don't have the funds to try 20 packs say 5 times. So targetting the market is the way to go to ensure you get a good level deck on the cheap.

Thanks bro, I'll consider what you said. More reason I'm planning to buy 20 packs is to hold them for SPS airdrop points that's why I'm having a hard time choosing which way to go.

Congrats to @arcgspy!

Whether the market is up or down, I react the same. I just play the game. A down market can be good because you can buy DEC cheaper and card prices are down making them easier to buy. Since I'm not selling, it doesn't matter to me.
