Stray Kids (en hangul, 스트레이 키즈) es un grupo surcoreano de ocho integrantes formado en 2017 por JYP Entertainment a través del reality show del mismo nombre. El grupo estaba compuesto originalmente por nueve miembros.1​ El 28 de octubre de 2019, JYP Entertainment comunicó que el mayor de los integrantes, Woojin, dejaría el grupo y a su vez la agencia por motivos personales que no fueron especificados.2​ Stray Kids lanzó un extended play pre-debut el 8 de enero de 20183​ e hizo su debut oficial el 25 de marzo del mismo año.4​ El 1 de agosto de 2018, su fandom oficial fue nombrado bajo el nombre "Stay".5​6​ Bang Chan, Changbin y Han son miembros de "3Racha", una sub-unidad pre-debut y el equipo de composición y producción de Stray Kids.

2018: Debut oficial y la trilogía I Am

Junto con el lanzamiento del sitio web oficial de Stray Kids, JYP Entertainment anunció el lanzamiento de un EP de pre-debut titulado Mixtape. Contiene siete canciones escritas y compuestas por los miembros, incluyendo «Hellevator» y otras canciones que interpretaron durante el programa.21​ El EP, junto con el vídeo musical de «Beware», se lanzó el 8 de enero, mientras que el vídeo musical de «Spread My Wings» se publicó una semana después.

El 5 de marzo, JYP Entertainment anunció que el showcase debut del grupo titulado Stray Kids Unveil (Op.01: I Am Not) se llevaría a cabo el 25 de marzo en el estadio Jangchung Arena.23​24​ Debutaron oficialmente al día siguiente con el lanzamiento de su EP titulado I Am Not, junto con el vídeo musical del sencillo «District 9», mientras que los videoclips de «Grow Up» y «Mirror» fueron lanzados el 31 de marzo y el 23 de abril respectivamente.25​26​27​28​

El 14 de abril, Stray Kids actuó en KCON Japan 2018, siendo la primera actuación del grupo en el extranjero desde su debut.29​30​ Dos meses después, JYP Entertainment anunció que el grupo realizaría su segundo showcase, Stray Kids Unveil (Op. 02: I Am Who), el 5 de agosto en Grand Peace Palace de la Universidad de Kyung Hee. Su segundo EP, llamado I Am Who, junto con el sencillo «My Pace», se lanzó el día siguiente.

El 4 de octubre, JYP Entertainment anunció el tercer showcase titulado Stray Kids Unveil (Op. 03: I Am You), que se llevó a cabo el 21 de octubre en Salón Olímpico, siendo seguido por el lanzamiento de su nuevo EP titulado I Am You y dando por finalizado la trilogía "I Am"

Stray Kids (in Hangul, 스트레이 키즈) is an eight-member South Korean group formed in 2017 by JYP Entertainment through the reality show of the same name. The group was originally comprised of nine members.1 On October 28, 2019, JYP Entertainment announced that the oldest member, Woojin, would be leaving the group and the agency for personal reasons that were not specified.2 Stray Kids released a pre-debut extended play on January 8, 20183 and made his official debut on March 25 of the same year.4 On August 1, 2018, his official fandom was named under the name "Stay." 6 Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han are members of "3Racha", a pre-debut sub-unit, and the songwriting and production team of Stray Kids.

2018: Official debut and the I Am trilogy

Along with the launch of the official Stray Kids website, JYP Entertainment announced the release of a pre-debut EP titled Mixtape. It contains seven songs written and composed by the members, including "Hellevator" and other songs they performed during the show.21 The EP, along with the music video for "Beware," was released on January 8, while the music video of "Spread My Wings" was published a week later.

On March 5, JYP Entertainment announced that the group's debut showcase titled Stray Kids Unveil (Op.01: I Am Not) would be held on March 25 at the Jangchung Arena. 23 24 They officially debuted the next day. with the release of their EP titled I Am Not, along with the music video for the single "District 9", while the video clips for "Grow Up" and "Mirror" were released on March 31 and April 23 respectively.

On April 14, Stray Kids performed at KCON Japan 2018, marking the group's first overseas performance since their debut. 29 30 Two months later, JYP Entertainment announced that the group would be holding their second showcase, Stray Kids Unveil (Op 02: I Am Who), on August 5 at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace. His second EP, called I Am Who, along with the single "My Pace," was released the next day.

On October 4, JYP Entertainment announced the third showcase titled Stray Kids Unveil (Op. 03: I Am You), which took place on October 21 at the Olympic Hall, followed by the release of their new EP titled I Am You and ending the trilogy "I Am"
