Trading: The Continuous Successful Economy

Trading has been the economy used since the beginning of time. One person has eggs, another person grows veggies. If you can give something value, it's tradeable. Today I'll be driving the Kansas prairie again, and I'll be going on the Santa Fe trail famous for trading. That's literally all they wanted to do, was go up and down the trail to trade for furs, buffalo, gold, horses, farms, etc. You name it, they traded it. And I cannot wait to take my own "horse" over the flint hills and see if I can trade for a house. I'll be checking out a house that was one of the first in the area and making sure that while it was built in 1860, it's ready to outlive more of the Kansas weather to make a home for me and my children. If so, I get to imagine writing all about Splinterlands while looking out over land that was traveled and used a trading system over 150 years ago, and I'm continuing the trading today just in a modern, crypto sense. It's exciting! So, let's talk about where to go to make these great trades for Splinterlands!

Where's the Best Place to Trade?

It pleases me to say that Splinterlands was well-designed with the understanding that most cards are tradeable. I say MOST cards, because for some reason they are not allowing Gladiator cards to be tradeable yet. I'm curious what the future holds for those precious cards, but alas, I digress.

So in order to trade cards, you need to know the best places to get those cards! This post is for the new players who aren't sure where to go make their trades. I highly recommend the following places:

Splinterlands

This site is of course the game. You can actually buy cards on Splinterlands. Just click on "Market" at the top of the game page, and you'll see something like the picture below.

You can choose the section you wish at the top from "Card Sales," "Card Rentals," and other areas for the future. You can also see they even suggest PeakMonsters and MonsterMarket as other options to make your purchases! While the graphics at Splinterlands are lovely, you do get more features from PeakMonsters and MonsterMarket so I usually use those.

PeakMonsters

Peak Monsters is an EXCELLENT source for buying cards. You can sort the cards using the filters given from Splinterlands according to the card pack and rarity. You can compare prices to find the cheapest available card. Not only can you buy cards at Peakmonsters, but you can rent the cards there as well. You can buy (click on card sales at the top) or you can rent (click on card rentals at the top). I've used both features and found the process easy to understand once you know the Splinterlands card groupings.

MonsterMarket

MonsterMarket is another FANTASTIC source for buying cards. You can earn money back for purchases there, and you will find a similar styled filtering to see the cards for sale. You receive 3% cash back on cards at MonsterMarket and 2% back on packs. What I like the most about MonsterMarket though is that the interface is easy to use, and you can filter through for the cards you are looking for and also determine statistics about the card.

With the recent update to Splinterlands, card rentals and purchases will be on the rise, so be sure to check out one of these areas and join the new way to trade cards for currency!

I love that we have A LOT of options to trade Splinterlands cards. I mostly rent so I am very biased towards PeakMonsters! Haha =)

You do not need to put #peakd as a topic-tag ... there is no real benefit and the post is not about PeakD.com so there really isn't a reason to. We are likely the only account to search for posts with the topic tag #peakd so it really doesn't benefit you much. We suggest you use that space for another topic tag that will help your post more and is more related to the topic of your post.

I hope this has been a helpful educative comment.
