Be Like Frank and Contemplate

A number of you have been watching my post on Frank, the Carpet Python that has residence in our backyard

As you would have seen, Frank has devoured something that resembles the size of a Cat or small dog, although I suspect is either a possum or a Bandicoot.

Watching Frank , Lounge about over the past three days while this monster inside him digests, which will no doubt take over a week to do so, It brought to mind the concept of patience, and slow and steady.

You see Carpet Pythons are a night time ambusher, they lay in wait, sometimes for long periods of time, and this is days, however they have sussed out the paths that critters take and lay in an optimum position, just waiting for something to walk past and then they grab.

So two points come out of this,
One is recognising where the opportunities lie and then waiting your turn until you can seize that opportunity for maximum benefit

Then there is slow and steady wins the race

This very behaviour can and should be mirrored when working on your business, plod along at a consistent pace and find that successes are far greater and more regular.

So no matter what your business is, take your time and it will still be there tomorrow, be consistent and work at a pace that demonstrates smooth progress, its all well and good to have an instant fix of incoming activity, but if it is short lived then there is no sustainability.

Work consistently at a pace that demonstrates good business growth and your business will continue to grow.

Things don’t happen overnight they take time and commitment to continuing efforts.
Be like Frank, be patient, take the opportunity when it presents and then take time to savour and digest what has been opened up for you. Consolidate each step as you go along and ensure that all the while you are planning your next move.

Having said that Frank is watching all the while he lounges around on the top shelf of a cupboard in our car port

Don’t get disheartened if things seem to go slowly, if they continue at that rate they will accumulate over time and before you know it you will start to show successes for your efforts
