Leash or Unleash - Just One Thing

Leash to me conjures up notions of containment; this does not need to be a negative thing, As much as we want to be unleashed and just o for it without constraints, this can often lead us into a fork in the road with no pre planning on which direction to go in when we reached it.

Unleashed can mean going forwards regardless and cross bridges when we reach them and just see where it takes us.

I like to take a more considered approach and ensure that I have taken into account as many possibilities as I can imaging and then use that knowledge as a tool to make informed decisions as to the directions I go. In a way this is just holding back on the leash a little so that I don’t go in blindly

Being totally unleashed can be fun but can create an impasse at some point that we do not know how to face.

I am a little ADHD, I used to be a lot ADD but now I am in my mid 60’s I am only a little. When I first met my Partner, 20 years ago, I was still very ADHD, not as much as I was as a younger man but still a lot. We were playing handball in the local schoolyard after hours, the ball bounced onto the roof of the nearby meeting hall, before I knew it I was on the roof, I believe I scaled the downpipe. Once I was up there, much to my partner’s surprise, she looked up at me and said, so how are you going to get down. Hmm I thought, not sure, I had to navigate the roof and find a way down, it actually involved jumping down to a lower roof and then jumping onto the ground, each jump was about 15 feet, so not too bad.

This story is an example of not pre planning what was going to happen if I took the next step. I leapt before I walked and found myself in a situation where I had to think on the fly. This approach did serve me semi well in my younger years, although I have had many injuries, lol. As I became more experienced in life I have adopted a much more informed approach to things, I have effectively leashed myself so that I am somewhat restrained in my approaches

My point being is that being Unleashed of course gives us total freedom to see what comes and face it when it does, however having some kind of leash allows us to make a more considered approach and make informed decision.

Both approaches have their use and purpose and both approaches can present us with great opportunities. Being unleashed can offer us opportunities that we wouldn’t ordinarily see and open doors that wouldn’t ordinarily present themselves which is a good thing, especially when enthused and wanting to walk before you can crawl.

However as I have said , as I reach the more experienced faze of my life, I have a knowledge and I know that can be applied to the directions I take and so I don’t mind that I have leashed myself and slowed my approaches down. It means that I can consolidate what I have and where I have been and then move forwards knowing at the decisions made are informed and solid

Do you know the legal name of @themarkymark ???? It is needed to contact his local police station. Any information to his whereabouts would be much appreciated.
