My Crypto Journey

It's funny how the first time I heard about cryptocurrency, it was from the mouth of two scammers at a party. I had gone to this birthday party with my ex boyfriend who was my boyfriend at the time and then I overheard this two young boys who with just one look at them, one could tell that they were internet fraudsters.

The both of them were talking about a foreign "client" who they wanted to steal some money from using bitcoin because according to the two boys, it was untraceable. Once you've received the bitcoin, no one can trace it and if it can't be traced, you can't be caught.

That was the first time I heard of bitcoin, then I heard about ethereum and the rest but you see,even after hearing about all of this cryptocurrencies, I still didn't move into crypto until about some few months ago when my friend introduced me to hive.

She had told me that hive is a platform where people earn in crypto and I remember the first thought that came to me mind was that I finally was going to have some bitcoin and become very rich.

Don't blame me guys, before Hive, I was a total dummy when it came to cryptocurrency. Yes I knew the names of few very popular coin but I didn't know any other thing about it. I remember the first time I finally sold some hive and received the money in my bank account, it felt like a dream come true and that was all the motivation I needed to know that if I really took crypto serious, it might indeed change my life.

I haven't really gone far with crypto as I'm only just starting but I'm willing and ready to go all the way with it, especially now that I know the many possibilities in it.
